I’ve tried many things over the years that never worked so I tried acne patches that worked but I sometimes reacted badly to them so I got this desperate to find something that works without the bad reactions. It does take a few days but my zits actually shrink instead of taking a month or two like before. Will definitely recommend to friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't noticed a difference. The smell is a nice minty smell that may be too strong for some but goes away quickly. It's pretty thin, so you have to be careful not to squeeze to hard. The tip looks like a lip gloss that you squeeze onto your lip. Maybe it'll work for you. But for my hormonal, oily, acne prone skin it did not.

Thought for a decade I couldn't tolerate BHA/salicylic acid products, but recently realized it's the propanediol (propylene glycol) in most that has likely been the problem. This is one of the rare BHA products available WITHOUT propanediol; so grateful to Andalou for making it. That said, this seems to utlize a "no pain no gain" formulation and burns/stings like a ****. Imagine the pain of a strong mouthwash x3 but on your face instead of in your mouth! The pain is no joke, but the product is very effective. I use it as a contact treatment (leave on for ~ 20-30 mins between my double cleanses at night) on problematic areas it and has done absolute wonders for my chronic breakouts, like nothing I've used before. Unlike leaving on overnight, which leaves my skin looking blotchy and unhappy by morning, using as a contact treatment does the job and my skin looks great in the morning. Not sure the daily stinging is healthy for skin long term so will continue to look for alternate propanediol-free BHA products but in the meantime very happy to have found this. (Could also be that whatever causes the stinging is actually contributing to the product's effectiveness; so may end up sticking with this one for good.)

Very gentle, no overwhelming scent, and doesn't leave any residue when dried. I've been using it for months, one tube lasted me so long, a little covers quite a bit! Definitely a new staple!

Warning! Don’t use it on acne that you just picked— it will leave a permanent scar! Make sure the acne spot is totally healed or it will make the wound and scarring worse. Usually my acne scars quickly fade— but then I used this and I have very obvious scars that haven’t faded for four months now.

I have been dealing with a couple of middle age acne spots on my face and thought that I would try this product to see if it would help. I am so glad that I purchased this product. The Clear Skin Blemish Gel is lightweight, does not smell like a teenager's acne medicaation and works! This gel is a targeted treatment for acne that works.

All the other Andalou products I've tried have been so gentle on my skin, so I was really surprised when this one felt like it was burning me! I tried twice since the first time I thought I put too much, but even putting on the tiniest dab notably hurt and inflamed my skin. It does seem to work, but doesn't seem worth it.

vanishing is right. you can see results the next day when you wake up and the blemishes/pimples are just gone. doesnt take much to cover either, a little goes a long way

This stuff works. It burns a bit when I put it on, but maybe that's just my super sensitive skin. But it helps dry up the blemish and makes it go away, and that's good enough for me.

This was a refill. I love this product. It works very fast at getting rid of blemishes.
