Does not provide consistent charge, and though the light is blinking to show that it is charging, the phone does not register as charging. When the phone is left on the pad it will randomly connect again and charge for a few second before idling again. To give it a fair shot, I left the phone on the pad for an hour to see what it would do. It kept the battery at the same level...52% when it was put down and 52% when it was picked up an hour later... I've been pleased with the previous Anker charging pads I've purchased in the past, but this one just doesn't work.

I bought 2–one for myself, one for my daughter. Neither of us can charge our phones by setting them on the disk because by the count of three they’ll stop charging. The block and cord work, but we wanted ALL of it to work.

Makes my battery decrease?

So I bought this because my port stopped working and I had a lot of friends tell me to buy a wireless charger, I got this one from target and it's awful. Multiple times i've put my phone on it and after an hour it only went up by 25%; and my phone was on airplane mode too, not very good for a "fast charger." I've gone to sleep with my phone on it and the most my phone will go to would be around 80%. I've also put my phone to charge on it while it's at a percentage like 90% and it will go down while on the charger. Not to mention that the charger overheats so quickly and sometimes the phone won't even start charging even when it's on it. I wish i could get my money back.

SO beyond frustrated w/ this charger. I was really excited to try it after having so many issues with its corded charger counterparts & seeing lots of 5 star reviews here but YIKES is this thing awful! first off, virtually all but one (two now w/ my review) review for this product says it was part of a promotion, so in hindsight I feel I was mislead by failing to recognize that all these reviews likely have a positive bias/ have information that has been heavily influenced in the product’s favor/ aren’t authentic. PLEASE DON’T make the same MISTAKE I did by automatically assuming the high ratings = good product. as for my experience w/ this product though (please note: I have used this product exclusively w/ my iphone 13)- aesthetically, it’s perfect- sleek, lightweight, and nicely designed. and its price seems reasonable too. HOWEVER, its functionality, which significantly supersedes aesthetics in importance, is very VERY POOR! for one, it takes FOREVER to charge! complete estimate time-wise here, but the corded charger I have right now can charge my phone a good 50% in roughly 30 minutes. whereas this wireless charger will charge my phone, maybe 10% after 30 minutes. additionally, the magnet of the charger that has to connect to my magsafe case in order to charge my phone is RIDICULOUSLY weak. which means that there have been numerous times where I’ve plugged my phone in, only for it not to attach properly, or stay attached, which means that it’s NOT charging my phone. and when I go to bed at night w/ my phone on this charger, I wake up in the morning and it’s a total toss up on whether or not I’ll wake up to a charged phone. but hey~ if you want some extra exercise, just put this charger on your nightstand & your backup good-quality corded charger in a different room. you’ll find yourself running to that other room a LOT when this charger fails you :/// I used to think that anker was a reliable company with reliable products, but this unfortunate piece of junk has caused me to question that. I HIGHLY suggest trying a different product, even one that’s a lot more $$$ if you can find a wireless charger that actually does what it’s supposed to reliably, quickly & overall well. I would NOT waste your money on this! but at the least, if you do, PLEASE keep your receipt so you can get your money back if you end up hating this & want something different. unfortunately I somewhat blindly trusted this product & as a result didn’t keep the receipt + am not able to return it as I have no proof of purchase. so learn from my mistakes, please! in summary + sleek & lightweight + low price - SUPER slow - fails to charge seemingly more times than not (weak magnet!) - you get what you pay for= it SUCKS at its job I think that just about sums it up! hope you find this helpful, whomever may read it! :)

It'll charge phones as well, but it's not a fast charger so it'll do so slowly. That might not be an issue for you if you just use it over night, the slow charging might even be better for battery health.

I have had other wireless chargers that require perfect placement on the pad; this product does not require that. As long as my phone is on the pad, it gets charged. The cord is able to removed from the pad which makes it great to pack up and travel with! I like the black color since it is touched constantly. I also like that it can be used for iPhones or androids, so friends can throw their phone on to charge as well if needed. I highly recommend the Anker 318 Wireless Charger if you are in need of a new phone charger.

Charging speed is pretty good, not super fast but it doesn't take too long to charge the phone. A call out would be that, my phone case sometimes interferes with the charging and needs to be removed.
