A: Yes- there is a fill line inside of the cup that you fill to. Then you put it in the microwave. instructions are on the cup or on the Annie's website.

The flavor is alright but no matter how long you microwave it or add correct proportions, you will end up with hard chunks. You can buy better quick Mac and cheeses for cheaper.

The new packaging is NASTY. First of all 2 of 4 cups opened because the seal dossnt stick well to this “cup”. I ordered a replacement but when I tried to prepare one of the remaining cups I was disgusted by something stuck to the cheese powder package. After the cup was done microwaving it turned into gross mush, leaked water in the microwave and SMELLED so gross that I am getting reimbursement as soon as the replcement arrives and NEVER again buying this in the weird paper trash packaging. Whoever made this decision should be forced to eat from this nasty cup.

Annie's replaced the plastic bowls with paper ones. While I'm all for environmentally friendly packaging, the top wrapping was loose on every bowl and noodles and powder spilled everywhere. Definitely a manufacturer's defect. Had to toss them all.

Bought this because of the cleaner ingredients for my twin 18 month olds to make in a pinch. The pasta does not cook evenly so there will be hard pieces and tastes very bland. Super disappointing.

My daughter loves this Mac and cheese, but this new packaging has got to go. It’s TERRIBLE. It doesn’t stay sealed. I can’t tell you the amount of times we have had them spill everywhere because of this. Please go back to the old packaging.

Texture is horrible and tastes even worse. I have had chickpea pasta before so I know the texture will be off, but the ones for Mac and cheese are really gross because of the extra ingredients used to make Mac and cheese. It has a weird gooey texture but also mushy.

Bought these a week ago and when I went to open them, all the plastic lids were coming up. I had to throw them all out because none of them were sealed properly. I have never had this issue when buying the plastic containers so hopefully they find a better way to seal these! My little one loves the Mac and cheese so we were both disappointed.

As soon as it came out of the microwave it had a very gooey texture. It was gross. After adding the cheese the texture remained. It tasted like cardboard. Do not recommend for little ones.

I’ve ordered this Mac & cheese many times, and it’s a solid average Mac & cheese cup to have on hand on days where I forget to bring lunch to work. However, Annie’s released (what I’m hoping is) a limited edition new paper cup packaging that’s supposed to be more earth friendly. However, it’s AWFUL. Both cups that were upside down in the 4pack had lids that unsealed, which meant that pulling the cup out of the sleeve dumped the contents everywhere in my office. Additionally, the cups had almost-holes in them where they touched the sleeve packaging. Thankfully it’s above the fill line for water, but it will definitely leak water while cooking in the microwave. If you are ordering this off the app, DONT until the return to the old packaging. If you shop in person, avoid this packaging like the plague.
