Unfortunately while it is a great idea. Unfortunately, I couldn't use as my Anova Precision Cooker is an older model. On the positive side gave to my nephew who I has purchased a newer Anova Precision Cooker as a Christmas gift ( along with the stand ). My loss his gain. He said the stand works great. My loss, his gain. And Anova offered to refund my purchase. They have GREAT Customer Service

Be careful ordering parts from Anova as they do a lousy job of helping you identify which product you have, AND have give various different products names that are very similar. I have a worthless piece of plastic that cost $30.00 with shipping.

I really do like the convenience of the base so I dont need to mess with the clamp thing, BUT when I use the base, it sits too far from the side and takes up too much space in the vessel. Im going to try cutting it down a little. I also feel that the price is too high for what it is.
