The Antennas Direct® ClearStream® 2V indoor/outdoor HDTV antenna uses 2 of our patented loops to receive TV signals 60+ miles away from broadcast towers. Engineered in the USA with multi-directional UHF and Hi-VHF elements and a wide 70-degree beam angle, you can reliably receive more channels even if local towers are spread out. The reflector adds forward gain and focuses the antenna’s power to protect incoming TV signal from interference that causes pixelation or a complete loss of picture. It is ideal for suburban and rural areas where heavy foliage or roofing materials between your antenna and the TV towers can interfere with reception. Premium materials and design and 20-in. mast with pivoting base mean this antenna can be installed indoors, in an attic, or outdoors on vertical or horizontal surfaces. Coaxial cable sold separately. This antenna was recommended by the cs rep based on my address. I'm located in northern NJ, 22 miles from the NYC transmitters. I have several large trees in the same direction that I point the antenna so that makes it more difficult. The antenna installed in my attic along with the JUICE amplifier. The JUICE helped me get solid reception. Without the JUICE the reception was not always solid. For the major networks I get solid reception on channels 2, 4 and 7. Channel 5 is pixelated, not watchable. Channels 11 and 13 get no reception at all. I was sent a channel guide of channels within range before purchase. Those 3 channels I can't get were all toward the bottom of the list.

I think being 700ft above sea level helps. I receive more channels than expected. Some have the same show, different cities. I do notice when raining or lots of clouds, certain channels bad reception. Easy install do to conduits from attic to basement where main is all connected. Ran about 40ft new wire, not including 4 tv's already ran after splitter.

Had to mount on roof due to aluminum siding. Knew where to point antenna due to your personalized map using a compass. Only had to find the right angle by trial and error. Result :almost 20 beautiful channels. Thanks to your on line help.

We have a cottage down by the lake that is surrounded by trees and gets bad reception. I installed this on the roof (bought a tripod and a 5’ mast to put it on and we are getting great reception)

I adjusted the antenna for the best reception. I went from 32 channels to 64 channels with this antenna. No more fading in and out. The reception is Great! I am Very Happy with my purchase. Buy one today, you won't be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this antenna after a lot of research and comparison. At first I was not getting the reception and range I was supposed to be. So I contacted customer support and they gave me a bunch of suggestions based on my location for what I can do. They told me what direction to aim the antenna. Then made some suggestion on where to place it and to shorten my cable. With all that I was getting most of the channels they said I should, and made one final suggestion to add a reflector and boom. Everything was coming in crystal clear. The product is amazing but the customer support is what sets this company apart. Give them a call and they will help you get the most for where you are.
