APEC RO Water System

Excellent system! Just wish I had purchased this product sooner. Easy to install and the water is really pure. My wife and I are older adults with the beginning of age related eye issues. One of the cautions with such conditions is to reduce the intake of heavy metal contaminants that are found in many municipal and well water supplies. I have peace of mind knowing that my APEC RO system remove these impurities.

Best Water Filter Ever!

Don't buy other expensive water filters, this one does the same or better work than the expensive ones. I installed myself, I am not a handyman person, and following the instruction was easy, I even open a hole on a granite counter top myself because I did not have the hole to install the filter faucet! 100% recommended!

Great product. We have used reverse osmosis systems for 30 years and will always do so. Even when traveling, I will start filling a gallon container to use.

Great Tasting Water

I bought this system after researching online for the best RO under counter systems. The installation was easy. The instructions explained everything in detail and were easy to understand. I did have to get a compression fitting to connect to the 1/4” line running to our fridge/ice maker. The water and ice taste great. I would have given it 5 stars but my wife feels the water faucet could be a little sturdier. I highly recommend this system.

After shopping around for nearly a month, I decided to get the APEC ROES-PH75. The big reason is that the plastic they use for the filter housings is polypropylene, which as far as I know is the only plastic currently made that uses no endocrine nuking plasticizers like phthalates and hardeners like BPA whatsoever. Many other brands use PVC which are very heavy with phthalates. The system was extremely easy to install, took about an hour. The instructions are very easy to read and very thorough. The reverse osmossis filter gets rid of phthalates, pharmaceuticals (apparently there are trace amounts in large city water systems), and hormones (again there are trace amounts in large city water systems due to people urinating excess hormones into the water supply from birth control or trt therapies). For those looking to buy. Please note that even after clearing the first tank as per the instructions your water will still come out with very fine aeration bubbles that initially make it look cloudy (they disappear after a few moments). The aeration goes away after a day or two's use. Also, I got the PH model with the alkaline stage. In a similar way to the aeration, the water came out tasting very very slightly of baking soda for the first day or two, but then that went away as well. I now have unbelievably tasty water that I fee comfortable giving to my children. My coffee tastes better using filtered water, basically every cooking application that uses water tastes better with the filtered water. I had no idea and I waited way too long to buy the system. I live in a major metropolitan area, and the water here is terrible, and often smells of chlorine or sulfur in the summer time.

In a world of Chinese imports, it’s nice to have a quality RO system with filters that you can rely on, built right here in the USA. Great design with well thought out installation fittings to solve most under-sink plumbing situations. The longest part of the installation was the 20 minutes that it took me to carefully drill through the granite countertop with a 1/2” carbide bore bit…the rest was even easier. My seventh RO system install in my lifetime, and the last three have been APEC systems…trust me, there is no comparison. And, speaking of trust, it is nice to have great tasting, filtered water to drink…we eliminated plastic water bottles a long time ago. R/ teo, Buena Vista, CO This is m

We have had expensive RO systems in the past and this one seems to work as well. It was easy to install and no leaks first time. The mineral filter gives it a bottled water taste. Nice clear ice cubes.

I purchased this unit last month and have been using it for a couple of weeks now. I must say I am very satisfied. The water tastes better, my coffee tastes better, it is much cheaper than buying water bottles and better for the environment. I am by no means a tree hugger but why hurt the Earth for no reason? The installation was very easy and straightforward and the colored illustration was very helpful.

Delicious

Over a year with this system, and still the best purchase of my life. Operates flawlessly. Delicious taste makes me drink more water. Treat yourself to the pH adjustment - it's a small extra cost and probably helps with the taste, in addition to acidity. Reverse Osmosis removes PFAS chemicals, which is a feature you'll realize you want as more environmental data becomes available. Also, 75 gpd is a lot of drinking water! The only time the tank totally emptied was when packing for a camping trip. It'll remove the fluoride, too, of course, so best to accept your dentist's recommended fluoride treatment. Fits nicely under the sink, leaving plenty of room for other under the sink stuff, and the faucet looks great. Make sure your sink has the hole to accommodate the faucet, or else the install won't be easy, like it was for me. Renters could remove this and take it with them (but would have to repair the hole drilled in the pvc drain pipe.) I intend to leave mine in place when I sell, and already plan to install this in every future home I live in. Okay, I'm off to refill my pint glass.

This system is designed for the average DIY homeowner to install and maintain easily. The total disolved solids (TSD) was reduced from 157 to 7, and the water tastes great. The flow rate from the faucet is much better than I thought it would be and the pressure tank refills relatively quickly -- I can fill 2 gallon jugs before any noticeable pressure drop from the faucet. I'll never go back to using charcoal only filters.

I purchased the ROES-PH75 a few years ago and have been completely satisfied. I didn't realize how much I enjoyed the system until I removed it about a week ago due to having to re-plumb the kitchen. Without the system in place, I cannot drink the tap water due to the terrible taste. I went through gallons and gallons of bottled water and my recycling filled up with gallon plastic water bottles in short order. I often went thirsty rather than drink the tap water. I'm so glad I finally got the replacement filters and re-installed the ROES-PH75 system. It really does give me peace of mind about my drinking water, saves me tons of money and eleiminates hundreds of pounds of plastic waste per year.

Great Water but Slow Flow

Great system with quality components and very clear instructions. Great water quality but slow flow with 1/4 inch lines. Consider upgrading from this system's 1/4 inch final filter/tank/and faucet fittings to 3/8 inch. This option IS available in their premium system. Otherwise, filling a pitcher or pot takes a little while.

Best RO System

We just moved to Florida and the water quality is questionable here. After doing some research we decide to purchase an APEC system to improve our water quality. We bought two of them and they came with everything you need to install them with. Instructions were very clear and easy to understand. It took us about one and half hour to install.the first one and one hour to install the another one. All you need is a wrench or pliers. Although the system doesn’t leave much room for other stuff due to the tank size, it produces high quality water with low TDS and it operates very quiet as well. The water tastes very different compared to tap water. It has a nice fresh crisp taste to it. We use to drink bottle water mostly and after installed this system, We no longer need to buy any of the bottled water. I feel fully satisfied with this product and would like to recommend this system to anyone because it appears to function as advertised.

After the unit was installed, I noticed that water flowed very slowly. My TDS meter showed about 28 vs. my tap water at 350 ppm. I knew the water quality was good.
