I love American ingenuity! Portable reverse osmosis that can quickly and easily be setup wherever we go. Living in an apartment and moving frequently for work made it difficult to have quality water. That's no longer the case with this product. It was setup in less than 5 minutes and it's just as easy to take with us when traveling. Thanks for a great product.

In 2 days, I will have had this for a year and it performs just as well today as the first day I purchased it! I live in an apartment, so this is perfect for me. It is a sturdy, quality product, meets my needs, is easy to install, easy to use, and I am pleased with the water it produces (I water test periodically). I recommend this system and I am so glad APEC makes this unit available to its customers.

Came ready to use. Only problem i had was figuring out how the adapter was going to get attached. After some tinkering, I finally figured out how to attach it to a water source with the appropriate attachment.

The hose from which the water is dispensed from the filter is just a hose with no way to attach to a container. Sometimes it stays in place and sometimes it does not. There is no way to protect the end of the hose or keep it in one place between uses. Sure one could devise some kind apparatus to handle this issue but I haven't found the time to do so. it is slow to filter with no auto shut off or timer so you have to be there when the container is filled otherwise you have over flow. The fill time is slow. About 11.5 minutes to fill a 64 oz container. Do you have time to stand there? Guess you could if all you want to do is play on your phone. It would be nice if APEC would include other adapters that would fit kitchen faucets that pull out. Yes, the literature says it will not fit those BUT wouldn't it be nice IF IT DID? This is limiting the placement.

Reverse osmosis purification is about as good as it gets for home water purification and this unit does an excellent job of it. I was originally looking at under counter units with tanks. I did not like the space requirement under the sink, the tank maintenance, and more importantly, I did not like that fact that reverse osmosis units (according to plumbers) are one of THE most common causes of plumbing related flooding in homes. Because this unit is only under pressure when operating it, this is a non issue and IF it did leak when operating, it would be relatively easy to discover and address. The unit looks fine as an on the counter unit. Maintaining is simple. YES - it is relatively slow (about 16-18 minutes for one gallon for me) and since there is no pressurized storage tank "on demand" is not the best approach for large amounts of water. This is a non-issue as 1 (or more) gallon water dispenser(s) or pitcher(s) (or whatever one prefers) can be filled at the end/beginning of the day and left in the fridge or wherever one chooses. I set a timer and walk alway. Yes, it is a change, but not a big deal for me. While the number of additional filters in some under counter models sound impressive, the performance does not actually come out particularly different. Due to the quality of the RO membrane and other filters in this unit, it will easily do what is needed. The filters do need to be replaced more often in this unit (vs. the extra filter under counter units) due to more being asked of them, but it pretty well "comes out in the wash" when all is said and done. As a side note - total dissolved solids (TDS) is not a definitive measure of water quality, but does show a number of elements are being removed. I have tested 138ppm at tap (not terrible) and at that time, ~6ppm from the purified end. The water is about as pure as one can get and I enjoy the taste/mouth feel of "pure" water. Easy, effective, and dependable = a great unit with a general emphasis on quality.

I purchased the countertop RO unit a few weeks ago to replace an older one from a different company that is no longer in business, and was hoping that it would be as good as the one I had, and so far it has been great -- it was super easy to install (I did it myself with no problem), looks nice and neat on my counter, and it consistently registers zero on my TDS meter. It makes a gallon of purified water very quickly too. I highly recommend this to anyone living in an apartment, or who wants a portable unit. And last but not least, the customer support is outstanding.

I'm very happy with this RO system, been using it for a month or so, and everything is working great.

I had been using another filtration system for years until I discovered this one. The previous filter was on the slow side so there was no real adjustment to this one. I like how compact it is and its ease of use.

We have had a water filtration counter top system for 30 years. We were very sad that we could not longer get filters for our old system. We are still able to use the water holding tank from the old system...

I bought this about a month ago and love it! Easy to install!! Just a tad slow on the water flow. But it’s worth the wait.
