I received this product in a vox box from influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. I was a little skeptical if I was going to like the serum. I enjoyed the scent of the cleanser and the anti pollution spray but was worried that the serum would be to strong but I was totally wrong! The smell is amazing, refreshing, calming, and the serum absorbs into my skin quickly. It leaves my skin soft, hydrated and supple. No oiliness and after using it for weeks it has improved the texture of my skin. It doesnt clog my pores, cause redness or irritation. It has made my skin look more awake and younger. It has softened fine lines and improved dry areas next to my nose from the harsh winter weather. It has become a new favorite that I will continue to use in my daily regimen! Not bad, absorbs quickly, feels light on the skin. Moisturises and softens the skin but the scent is a little too strong (to be more clear, bark note in this serum is much stronger than in cleanser). However I didn’t like the packaging. This serum’s viscosity is not optimal for a dropper. I’ve seen this too many times, it’s like manufacturers feel obliged to place their serums in the dropper bottle just because it’s a serum. Even if serum texture doesn’t really work well with dropper. I like this serum because you don't need much, it smells amazing, and its very lightweight. I love that it is in a bottle with a dropper. It makes choosing the amount you want so much easier. I did enjoy the feel and the way my skin felt after using thus product however the scent that lingers with it is strong. This has accidentally become my favorite primer. I was scared at first because dimethicone is an ingredient & normally that breaks me out but this serum has so many goodies in it that it hasn't broken my skin out. Because of dimethicone I don't like to wear it at night before bed, but I looooove it for day time. Definitely my new favorite day serum & works so amazingly under makeup. The perfect primer if I dare say.

Out of the three apothecare products I’ve tried this one is my favorite due to its beautiful milky texture that makes my skin feel velvety smooth. However, this product has the same seriously strong fragrance that the others have except it lingers even more than the others. I can’t speak on long term effects since I haven’t been able to try it out for that long but it’s very moisturizing, and lays under and mixes well with my night time moisturizer. I only wish that the serum was more hydrating for me. I have to add another layer of moisturizer on top. It has left my skin very soft!! Love the smell! You can't use the cleanser,from this line, without using this after or your skin will be dry. Overall, the serum is okay, but other than leaving the skin soft, I didn't notice any other benefits. First I did receive this product for review from influenster, but my opinions are my own. This serum is lightweight, milky and smells amazing. I will be buying this product when I run out and I dont even know how much it costs. I use this product morning and night in place of some of my higher end brands, that's how much I love this. Tried these for two weeks now to give it a fair review and it is amazing! Loved the smell (not overpowering), loved my soft skin (not felt tightening) and loved the texture of the serum (milky, and fresh). I did not break out or experience any dryness on my face. The only reason I gave it 4/5 is because it does not protect against harmful sun rays. I truly hope they make this product with some spf as I had to add that in my routine. I have to say that I feel like this serum is something special. I can't comment on long term use because I have only been using this serum for about 2 1/2 weeks. I recommend using skincare for a month or more to be able to recognize the full effects. I can say that I am very impressed with my first impressions. I have tried MANY different products and brands and I am so excited that I found this product. I don't consider this cheap but it's not outrageous compared to many other brands. The packaging is pretty but average. It doesn't look exceptionally unique or fancy but it doesn't scream completely generic or cheap either. The serum is a milky white color and it has more of a lotion consistency, not incredibly thin like many serums. They suggest you use 3 drops morning and night, but I feel like I need around 4 or 5 drops to feel satisfied. The serum slides on the skin like silk and it soaks in very quickly. Many serums leave my skin feeling slightly sticky but this serum makes my skin feel highly moisurized. My skin looks very healthy and plump, even after the first use. It leaves my skin looking slightly dewy as well, but not oily by any means. I have also used this under makeup and it did amazing. This does have fragrance in it. I know many people dislike fragrance, ESPECIALLY in their skincare. The scent is not only VERY strong, but it also lingers around afterward longer than any other product I have ever used before. I actually LOVE the scent and I feel like it's what makes the product so refreshing. So if you are someone that dislikes strongly scented skincare, this is probably not for you. To everyone else, I definitely recommend. I can't wait to try more skincare from ApotheCARE Essentials.
