A: Although they are not marketed as sneaker balls, they certainly can be used inside sneakers! They are made of baking soda, which has natural odor eliminating properties.

Q: A&H states that these feature a Clean Burst scent; however, it occured to me that these balls shouldn't smell like much of anything at all if the odor-absorbing ablity is working as claimed, no?

Love these air fresheners! I put them all over my house and I put one in the baby's diaper pail. They work great! The diaper pail has a filter but it doesn't work as well. These air fresheners were such a game changer.

These take care of really difficult odors. I've used it for a musty smell (totally gone) and a urine odor. That is gone too. I have ony used this in enclosed spaces such as a closet.

Too fragranced to use in kitchen or bathroom cabinets- within a couple of hours it made my dishes and medicine smell and taste like the scent. Would probably be better used in a pair of shoes or in a clothing/linen closet or in a larger space, due to the heavy fragrance- which is not an unpleasant scent, just stronger than I had imagined it would be.

Works great in small spaces! I originally placed them in my bath room, laundry room and my son's room. It worked fine in the bathroom, but that was a smaller, enclosed space. I couldn't notice a difference in the laundry room and definitely not in my son's room. I moved them to my gym bag and an action packer that holds camping gear and there was a noticeable improvement. The scent is fresh and clean and not overpowering. Unless you use multiple balls, I would say the smaller the space the better.

Great item to help with those odors in small spaces!! We set these up in a few places around the home. They worked great in our little “cat corner” to help with those dreaded cat box smells. We tried it in our small guest bathroom but we didn’t seem to get the same result. We are guessing the room size was just too big for the small odor eliminators. We will be trying these in our closet where our kids’ sports equipment gets stored as well. Overall, great item for small spaces to get rid of those lingering smells!

Compact and discrete. You'll hardly notice they're even there. This can be both good and bad. Good because they are not an eyesore and bad because it's hard to tell if it's really working. For what it's worth, I haven't noticed any foul smells in the areas that I have stashed them, so that's a plus.

The Arm & Hammer Odor Busterz are good at eliminating odors. I am sensitive to scented products and was unable to use in my home, but I did find a good use for them in my garage. My city trash can has a hook on the lid and I threaded a string through the holes on the Odor Busterz and it has eliminated odors coming from my trash can. I would love an unscented version of this so I can use in my home.

I love these odor buster's I have one in the car, one in the bottom of my bedroom trash can and the other in my kid's room. As you know those places carry the most odor's I have noticed. These last a month at least. The one in my car and trash can are still making it smell pleasant. I have to say with teen's and a husband who works the smell of getting in the car and going in their room has been so much better.

I've been using these Arm and Hammer spheres lately and I've enjoyed using them. They're small, making them space saving and you can place them in any smaller space that you need some odor neutralizer. I've been using these in my laundry room, bathroom and pantry and they've worked great. There's no musty smell anymore. I had tried everything and these were what helped. I highly recommend these for smaller spaces. They're small, help neutralize odors and they can be used anywhere for extra versatility.

Smaller than I thought they would be. Not sure how effective one will be, probably will use all 3 in the gym bag. THey have a smell, I think they just mask the odor, not "eliminate" it like the claim. THey are ok for a air freshener, but nothing special. There are cheaper options.

These Odor Busterz work great! We have a small closet in our mud room that is overflowing with shoes. Due to the fact it is a small area which is contained behind a closed door the majority of the time, the "stinky feet smell" from all the shoes was very prevalent. I placed one of these Odor Busterz on the shelf in that closet one evening. The next morning when I opened the door to get some shoes, I was thrilled to find that my closet was no longer engulfed with "stinky feet smell". Instead it is now a light fresh scent!

These are a good option to have to toss in a stinky bag, a stinky garbage can before you put the bag in, or for mom of babies that dreaded diaper pail to help combat the terrible odors that sometimes are beyond our control! The only reason I am giving it a 4 out of 5 stars is sometimes I find just one doesn’t seem to cut it for some nasty odors so best to “Arm & Hammer” yourself with the best defense and add more. One if great for a nice small job, but stronger odors you might need more. All in all I love having this to be able to help combat nasty smells.
