Book Synopsis

THE MUST-READ MULTIMILLION BESTSELLING MYSTERY SERIES - The final book in the A Good Girl's Guide to Murder series that reads like your favorite true crime podcast or show. By the end, you'll never think of good girls the same way again...

Pip is about to head to college, but she is still haunted by the way her last investigation ended. She's used to online death threats in the wake of her viral true-crime podcast, but she can't help noticing an anonymous person who keeps asking her: Who will look for you when you're the one who disappears?

Soon the threats escalate and Pip realizes that someone is following her in real life. When she starts to find connections between her stalker and a local serial killer caught six years ago, she wonders if maybe the wrong man is behind bars.

Police refuse to act, so Pip has only one choice: find the suspect herself--or be the next victim. As the deadly game plays out, Pip discovers that everything in her small town is coming full circle . . .and if she doesn't find the answers, this time she will be the one who disappears. . .

And don't miss Holly Jackson's next thriller, Five Surive!

How the content of this book was written was amazing! I will say though, as someone who’s struggled PTSD, the beginning of the book was very, very hard to read. I would reccomend that others who struggle with their mental health take caution while reading it. There’s something about Ravi & Pips relationship that just makes me cringe. I don’t know if it’s the way they talk to eachother and interact, or what, but it almost doesn’t feel natural to me. I suspected who ended up being the real DT killer from the first time Pip dug into it. Not sure if it was glaringly obvious to just me, or to other people as well. The entire time the Alibi and cover up was being planned I kept screaming (in my head) “CALL THE POLICE! CALL THE POLICE!” Especially with Pips struggle with PTSD - there’s no way she’ll be able to cope with what happened on her own, let it just be behind her without her problem getting worse. So that was frustrating. All I wanted was Justice for the wrongly convicted DT, I didn’t want that part of the plot to be abandoned. I’m glad it wasn’t. However, I do feel like the series was recapped well, while there are other ways I would’ve liked to see it end, I’m content with how it did. (I almost would’ve loved a 4th book on the Max Hastings trial).

Such a good series! I’m always recommending this series to everyone. I just wish they wouldn’t have a permanent sticker for Five Survive on the cover. So annoying and ugly

It seems all the unanswered questions are in the final book of the series. It has so much horror when I read it. This last case was connected to the series.

A Little Torn...

I’m kind of torn on this. I loved this series, especially the first two books! I’m very into true crime, so this series was a no brainer for me. Personally though, I felt like there were certain things in this book that were morally questionable for a Young Adult book. I realize that there are characters in the book that do need to be held accountable for their actions. However, no matter what someone has done, I don’t think it’s morally correct to frame someone for such a serious crime they didn’t commit. I realize I’m reading a series about murder, but the way it ended just didn’t sit right with me. Especially knowing that I was recommending this series to my teenagers, who are still pretty impressionable. The writing and story really are quite great, I would just be a little more hesitant as to who I recommend the series to now.
