The router is setup as a stand-alone router replacing a netgear r7000p and r6400. The router was easy to setup and signal strength appears to be good. This is the first ASUS router I have purchased and will have to wait and see how it works over time. Price was reasonable and quality seems good.

This router replaces a RT-AX82U. After help from Asus Support to remedy my 2.4gh from dropping out this router has been excellent. The throughput is extremely fast, the signal coverage is strong throughout my 2000 Sq. Ft. house. All of the articles and reviews that praised it were Johnny-on-the-spot. I am well pleased with my purchase.

This is not my 1st ASUS router but it is the reason I replaced my old one with a new ASUS router. It reaches everywhere in and around the house and It's fast and secure. It can handle multiple WIFI connections, TVs, phones, computers, tablets and stereo and never a glitch unless it's comes from the cable co.

This has been the easiest set up ever. Watch the videos to learn of your security needs and adjust accordingly. Found that to help accelerate set up even more. Many tools for customization. The range of coverage reached our Generac unit far better than Spectrum router and now factory monitoring is complete. I would recommend the unit for a novice as myself, for those wanting to upgrade from ISP supplied router.

To resolve the issue, place the router in the center of the area you want to cover, avoid placing the router near metal objects, electronic devices or direct sunlight, position the router on a flat, hard surface and halfway between the floor and ceiling. Additionally, dense building materials, such as gypsum, concrete walls and planks can affect Wi-Fi signal penetration. Furthermore, please check if the PC or device connecting to the router is working properly and within range to the router, the router is within 30 feet to the ISP's modem, if not wired with a network cable, and ISP's internet service or connection is working properly or stable. Also, we recommend updating the router's firmware if running with an older version. Time to upgrade router and security settings. Online reviews of this one were favorable. It was easy to setup with iPhone app and is working well with other devices. We have 300mgb fiber internet and this exceeds that on Speedtest. It also extends to a studio building across the yard. The app makes setup and configuration easy and I've got Wpa3 security.
Not as easy set up and configuration.

All seemed good at first, just seems to be some quirkiness for certain devices. I switched to ASUS from TP Link, due to the possible security vulnerabilities with TP Link.
