The first option would be to put your ISP Router/modem into Bridge Mode and then connect to this router, and the Second Option would be if your service supports a Direct to Ethernet connection. For both options, you would need to contact your ISP to see if your service supports adding a Router. Q: Can I use the router without the "Nighhawk app" (plug+play)? Can the "Nighthawk app" be used (downloaded+controlled) from the computer not a cell phone?

My ring camera needs 2.5? but your router is 5? Dont know how to modify. I would also like to change the password and name of router so it matches what I had to replace. I did get my TV to hook up so that was good. I would say nice equipment but make the installation more user friendly.

Since I’m an octogenarian living alone this was important to my out of state children. Your router saved the day and also saved a great deal of worry for my children. It works great, all of our devices in the house have great speeds, so no longer have to do monthly resets as with our old router, so very happy with the purchase. Didn't want to use the app for set up so found a video on youtube with step by step instructions.
