The board functions great and looks great however, there is so much bloatware that you install one after another especially for rgb which slows down your system and in the end does not work well with your peripherals. In the end you have to use thirds party apps to make everything work together. This is not a cheap motherboard amd for that reason I'm am disappointed with my purchase.

The B550-F is a good MB I only have one issue with it and that's the lack of CHA fan ports but just buying an adapter gets around it. It runs very smooth with the 7800xt and ryzen 7 5800x and handles loads very well without much change in overclocking.
Great MB, Great value!!

I needed an upgrade as my old desktop was starting to show its age; this board has worked quite well and may just be the smoothest build I’ve ever done problems-wise. I was able to install without issues and luckily all the components I ordered work with the board and the case and each other. Overall very satisfied with the performance boost I got and having onboard wifi is a huge bonus.

Works fine not complicated to install. Had to replace a msi b550m. Overall happy with the ROG STRIX B550-F. Using an existing ryzen 5500 and 132 gb of ram from old board.

This is a good motherboard!! Powerful, fast wifi, kool rgb lighting! Many many features, very good components, good bios! Only downside is comes with no drivers. You must have access to another pc with internet and download all the drivers to usb drive and install the drivers via usb drive.

Very pleased with the ease of installation and performance. A straightforward upgrade from my Asus Z-170E. Most of my components and the cabinet survived the trip (I had to change out a USB Serial cable, no upgrade path for W11. Not an Asus issue.).

Installation was quite simple, as I have done several of these in the past. The only problem was the lack of networking (Wi-Fi and LAN). The provided drivers on the web site did not correct this problem, but after communicating with Support, a different set of drivers fixed it. Once up and running, it has been flawless. I chose this motherboard because of the upcoming change to Windows 11; my old board was a (still working and >10 years old) Z-97.
Decent upgrade...to a point.

Most of you that read or are aware of the boards capabilities will be satisfied. The gen2 argb is smooth as hell and works beautifully for example. Wifi 6 is amazing. The layout and functionality all is well done except for sata. My previous b450f gaming ii was better in some ways. For example it didnt disable sata 5 and 6 when a 2nd m.2 ssd is installed. Yup, thats not only odd but really disappointing. I have 6 sata devices and cant use 2 ports. I find this very disappointing and now have to buy a pcie card to give me those ports. Another disappointing feature is only a single gen4 slot for gen4 m.2 drives. These boards arent cheap but whats the point of having all these options that disable other options when one is used. Im a die hard asus fan. Truly, die hard. Those two things are, i dont know, really odd.sell features but if you use this you lose that. Whats the point? Nice board, robust features. Complicated hdd setup, same as the 450f with with legacy and uefi settings that have to be played around with especially if you have a previous windows install, it really wont like it. Qfan is great. Memory settings very nice. Overclockers dream or go simple and the bios will oc things for you. Those two things will nip you so 3of5 stars.

I like this motherboard. I replaced a Gigabyte Aorus motherboard that failed with this motherboard. Since this was a build from several years ago and I already had everything including an AMD5600G, 32GM of RAM, case etc. I found it pretty easy to just replace the motherboard. Fired right up and runs Windows 11 with no problems. I'm not a gamer but have two other ASUS TUFX570 motherboard PCs in my house and like their dependability.

From a TUF X570 PLUS WIFI to a ROG STRIX B550-F

I had a TUF X570 gaming plus Wi-Fi MB and the NIC died also the Wi-Fi was only 5 so I "upgraded" to the ROG with 2.5 NIC and 6e WI-FI. However, with the B550 chip you don't get two NVME 4x4 M2's just one 4x4 and the other 3x4. I thought that would actually be a downgrade, to my surprise it is not the drives are actually cashed with ASUS software and faster than the two 4x4 in the X570 board. I am happy with the upgrade
