Seems to be well laid out and high quality. Not had an AMD platform for a long time and was worried about reports of long boot times because of “memory learning”. Had no problems at all and everything running stable from first boot. PBO and EXPO set up easily in bios. Not the cheapest board but quality should hopefully mean reliability in the future. Read more reviews than I care to remember but seemed to indicate a good balance of features, quality and price.

After reading some good reviews and some bad reviews I decided to get this motherboard. So far it hasn’t let me down. Easy to build with, greatly instructed plenty of ports and an rgb on the side which you can change colours and styles in the app.

The Bios was updated to the latests version before the initial boot. WHile windows installed the computer has not been stable. Originally it took over 5 minutes to boot thought I did something wrong. After updating drivers etc I was able to get the boot time down to less than a minute. Still have not gotten any stability from the system. Ryzen 9 processor, all parts motherboard, memory, power supply are made by Asus. I did not add the invidia card and use the native video on the CPU. The machine constantly reboots you never know when, CPU temps are fine, 96 gig of memory, windows 11,

Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for your comment. We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are experiencing a random system reboot. After a successful BIOS flashed, we recommend to load optimize default inside the BIOS setup page to initialize all I/O devices properly. Normally, during a fresh install of Windows, a random reboot will occur. After successfully installing Windows and completing the initial setup, please continue installing all Windows update and drivers. The random reboot should go away once the laptop is up to date. If the problem persists, please check if all hardware are installed correctly and working properly. Should you need further assistance with the product, please email me at cl-rodel@asus.com and I would be more than happy to help. Or you are most welcome to call Product Support Hotline at: 1(888) 678-3688. Also, you can chat with an ASUS live support agent from the link: https://www.asus.com/us/support/article/1135/. Thank you for choosing an ASUS product. Regards, Rodel ASUS Customer Loyalty

Only con is that the optic out is not fitted on the board or the SPDIF to optic port accessory was not included It would have been nice If you include it with the motherboard. The M/B is excellent the quality is amazing, and the overall appearance is pleasing to the eye just a great Mobo
Great board overall, but one minor hiccup.

Out of the box, the B650E-F is pretty good. Everything functions and works as intended. I have a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which pairs great with this board. The only issue I encountered was when I tried to overclock. When doing so, the board bricked and was only recovered by resetting CMOS. Updating BIOS fixed the issue entirely, and everything has worked normally since. I wish that a BIOS update would be immediately recommended or at least stated somewhere on the packaging, as figuring out what went wrong wasn't a walk in the park.
Looks great !

Good looking board but it doesn’t have the drivers necessary installed to utilize Ethernet or WiFi which isn’t a hard fix if you know that’s the problem I will say the ez flash for bios is pretty sweet

Second board from Asus. First B650, but so far, so good. Plenty of plug-in options. A hint of RGB is nice. Paired with the 7800X3D and 4090, it looks great. So far, I've had no issues or complaints.

So far it has been an excellent laptop, meets my needs and even filled in for my desktop when it recently needed updating. One con I have to mention is that it has not been good at keeping the CPU cool. I have purchased a dual-fan laptop support to help with cooling and have not seen the >100 degree C overheating (per HWMonitor) when using it, but have not stress tested it. Knowing Intel has had some recent microcode issues with the desktop version of this CPU, I will be updating the BIOS soon. If that helps, I may try an addendum to this review.
My son loves it!!

Board is okay but takes quite some time to post to BIOS. Takes 3-4 times longer to post than my X570s board did.

Dear Jaster, Thank you for your comment. Certainly, it is a decent motherboard. If the bootup time is slow, please try to load optimize default in the BIOS and check if Windows was installed clean or fresh from scratch using this motherboard. If you need further assistance with the motherboard, please email me at cl-rodel@asus.com and I would be more than happy to help. Nice motherboard, working as expected out of the box and easy to configure. Installation of software is done via motherboard onto Windows without to worry about downloading drivers.
