When I saw golden vanilla I think of something sweet and creamy. But instead it has a soapy smell that is very pleasant. Feels a bit oily and sticky on the skin at first but the feel went away pretty quick. The packaging feels very premium and i like the color tone

I'm not usually one for natural deos, but I have recently been reaching for this every morning. I got the petal bloom scent and it smells very luxurious. In terms of effectiveness I went for a run yesterday and returned with 0 pit stains or smell break through. I'm not sure how it will do in 80+ degrees, but for now this is my go-to!

This deodorant smells like a melted, creamy vanilla ice cream cone that you drizzled marshmallow fluff on top and then did a spritz of cologne. This is what sniffs vanilla vice should have smelt like. Very delicious scent. Now. Is this going to last you 48 hours? No. This will last at most 6 hours before you have to reapply. However, I'm okay with that. I make my own deodorant but I will be using this option for the summer. I layer this product with the matching spray and it holds me over. I have not gotten any rash or any complications from using it all over as well.

I love this deodorant and this is my favorite scent. I am just disappointed they changed the shape of the container because the round one fit the armpit better.

I really liked everything about this deodorant except that it gave me a rash. Smells nice and lasts throughout the day, goes on clear, no white marks on clothes, doesn’t stain clothes, decent price for natural deo. I’m not sure what ingredient in this is the issue for me, but maybe if you are less sensitive it will work for you.

Product: Athena Club All Over Deo Scent: Golden Vanilla Claim: 48-hour protection from odor Length of test period: 5 days, 7 hours (I tried to include photos of skin burn reaction that prevented a full 2 week trial review, but photos kept flagging as not allowed.) The positive(s): 1. Oh My God(dess Athena), the Golden Vanilla scent is incredibly warm and luxurious! It reminded me of an equally incredible fragrance I had back in the late 90s/early 2000s before “niche brands” were a thing. But I digress….. 2. The product is like a gel-solid that goes on clear - I thought I heard Heavenly Angels sing the first time I put it on and didn’t see white residue trails on my navy or black tops when they went into the laundry chute after a full day’s wear. Not only that, but there were no little white bead-balls at the end of the day. (Queu the Choir!) 3. The tube (packaging) containing the deodorant is pure class. Sooo much better to even hold in the hand versus the cheap-ish hard plastics of other leading brands. Smooth and weighted, it just feels like a special product. The negative(s): 1. While the Golden Vanilla scent is pure heaven, it does fade throughout the day (as it should) but was totally devoid of any fragrance trail after 9-12 hours. 2. I wish the claim of 48-hour protection had worked for me but on my longest day of a maximum 18 hours, it was struggling to keep up with a leisure day that began at 7am and included activities of Church, painting and cooking. By the next morning at 1am, it was as if I had no deodorant on at all. Not willing to give up so easily, I did this twice more and applied at various points of the day and night. However, the variables made no difference and served to fail me past 10-12 hours each time. 3. Unfortunately, after 5 days and 7 hours I felt a semi-itchy-burning at what I thought was the back of my arms. Went to shower and noticed inflamed red patches around my arm pits. So obviously my skin was reacting to an active ingredient with the formulation of this deodorant. (Again, photos of inflammation would not post.) Final Rating: 3.7 out of 5 Summary: If there had been no skin irritation reaction, I would probably still try using it on the days when dark shirts are worn AND nothing heavily active is planned because I truly did like this product.
