The glass is very clear edge to edge. Zoom feature is very nice and smooth. Excellent product for the price.
Almost perfect, but for the price it's hard to beat

I'm not the most experienced guy when it comes to optics so I am by no means a snob. I buy what works at a reasonable price. This optic works great. My main complaint is the course adjustment wheel is very touchy, it can be difficult to get it just right The eye piece, the zoom dial, the optical quality is all there. I would also recommend putting a tether on the eyepiece cover. Other than those things, I highly recommend!

Have used these now against many other high end spotting scopes and the Ares will go neck and neck with them any day of the week. even all the way at 60 power youre able to still see clear. I will say, sometimes a mirage will affect how you see through the scope but overall great experience and great glass!

Used on a Colorado elk hunt. Videod animals at 1800 yards. Very clear. Lightweight and easily fits in a side pocket on my pack. Very clear and for less than half the price of some other known name brands. I paired mine with a magview phone adapter and was able to get great video and pictures from 1200-1800 yard away. I would recommend this spotting scope to anyone backpacking into the wilderness who needles a compact scope.

Was skeptical on the glass at first. For the size and clarity you can’t go wrong. Recommend for a pack hunt.
Great spotting scope for price!

I’m new to spotting scopes haven’t looked through many but I have looked through quite a few binos low to high end and for the size weight and clarity of this spotter it’s a great buy. only negative I have is that I cannot wear my eye glasses while looking in the spotter at any magnification. It’s not a deal break just a minor inconvenience. Otherwise I’m extremely happy with my purchase
Great Scope for the price

I don't have another scope to compare this to, but it has set a standard for the scopes I will eventually buy in the future. Solid build quality, good eye relief, and crisp visuals. I primarily use this for rifle shooting out to 300 yds. I can clearly see the impact points on the target. Great purchase!
A good affordable piece of glass.

So far I have been impressed with the clarity. I have yet to do extensive glassing at low light with it but for the price it seems to be very high quality. Small enough to take in the backpack and seems sturdy enough to not worry about babying it.

Not the best clarity or field of view, bit for price and size, it's best in class. Included sock was nice, too. Compact and lightweight, had great clarity and color.

I use this scope for competitive shooting, general range use, hunting, and birding. So far, it's been great for all the above (haven't tried it hunting yet). If I only planned to use it at the range or for birding, I would have gotten the 60x model, but I wanted the lighter weight for potential backcountry hunting. I do think more magnification would be nice at the range. But for what I got this for - it works great. Glass is clear and crisp at all magnifications.

Took this on our latest Antelope and Elk hunts. Purchased it specifically for its compact size and carry weight. I also purchased a MagView Gear S1 adaptor so we could capture pictures and video of animals and shots. The setup worked excellently. I am very impressed with the clarity of glass with this spotter. At the price point I was expecting good, but was happily surprised with great clarity at range. I am typically ranging targets out to 1000 yds and shooting inside 800. Paired with the mil reticle and MagView adapter we were able to see precise steel impacts over 700 yds and capture the trace on video. Packing this over 6+ miles of stalking in a day was not an issue. The one area I note for awareness is the eye relief. If you like to be well away from the eyepiece, this may be an issue, but overall I was able to quickly position my eye and find targets. I have used much more expensive and larger spotting scopes and will happily use this at rifle matches and for hunting from here on out.
Great glass, compact, and light weight!!!

This spotting scope has very good glass in it. It is very compact compared to what I am used to packing. I can fit it easily in my pack or run it in a side pocket on the tripod. In the pic I will add the bull is around 400 yards with the sun going down behind us at 6pmish right before the shot. Great product and easy to use even with the protective sleeve on it. For the money and glass this is well worth it compared to other Higher dollar brand names.

Such a compact piece of glass with a great view. Lesser scopes have a less focussed outer edge but for the price this thing compare to higher glass of competitors. Looking forawrd to hauling this in the back country this year.

This product is top notch and beyond any expectations. The dial is crisp and not mushy, The base plate fits it in 90% of tripods and mounts. It's a little lighter than my vortex razor spotting scope. The Ares is ultra clear and the quality is on point. Recommend this product to anyone who's wanting a spotting scope either clarity and quality without breaking the bank.
