Q: When opened for the first time, is it normal for there to be liquid separated from the cream? The one I received had about a teaspoon of liquid coming out of the tube before the actual cream.

i think this moisturizer is probably okay but i ordered (and re ordered!) it and it came separated and messy both times. maybe if you can pick it up in store you’d be fine.

I have extremely sensitive skin and this product did not make me breakout! When I have a flare it completely calms it down , I have dry itchy rashy reactive skin and it is controlling my symptoms!

I don't write reviews often, but I have been a huge fan of this cream that I had to leave one. I have been using this product for over 2 years now, and I see a real difference in the quality of my skin. I use this primarily on my face as an additional barrier cream above my moisturizer. I have rosacea and over the years of trying a million different products, this one was able to keep the redness under control. And not only that, the texture is AMAZING. It is this thick balm that absorbs into the skin so well. I know this is a product I will keep around me in the long-run.

The BEST facial moisturizer I've ever used. Does not make me break out and has transformed my skin. I use it on my eyes too. It is not at all greasy, absorbs quickly, and makes my skin look amazing. Avene is now my go-to brand for skincare.

I love love love this cream! My 4th tube and I will never be out of it. I have mature (age 55), sensitive menopausal, rosacea dry skin and this keeps everything calm, moisturized and glowy. It’s great in the winter to add much needed hydration without the greasy feeling. I use only at night in the summer. Also it has rescued my skin from irritations due to waxing, using too strong of retinols (not Avene’s) and itching from allergies. If you have problem skin like me just get it!

It’s a nice thick cream that doesn’t leave you feeling sticky not so your pores feel clogged. For me, the main negative is that there is a lot of water in the cream so when I go to use it, a bunch squirts out before I get the actual cream. It’s very messy.

I just received this and was very excited to try. Upon removing the foil seal, an almost blue tinted oily sort of liquid came out. I tried to massage the tube to incorporate the ingredients together as I thought maybe it had separated, but this did not work. The cream also has a slight unpleasant smell to it. I’m not sure if the product is expired or what the problem is.

I have Cicalfate In the past and loved it. It seems like there is something wrong with this new tube that I just purchased. Liquid comes out before the cream starts to come out and the cream is very chunky. It doesn't seem like it mixed properly.

It was difficult to even try it because it just poured liquid out. I shook it, made sure it wasn’t too hot or too cold, but the ingredients next mixed into any kind of a product you could actually apply. Very disappointed especially for the price

Received a sample of this product and absolutely loved it. I went out and purchased a huge bottle and to my disappointment when I opened the bottle a lot of watery liquid just kept coming out. When I finally got to the cream it had a very weird consistency and smelled really horrible. What a waste of money and gross.
