Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Oil-Free Facial Cleanser with Soy Extract & Salicylic Acid for Acne-Prone Skin - 6 fl oz

I've been looking for a replacement to the sadly discontinued Aveeno Ultra Calming Foaming Facial Cleanser, which would leave my skin so soft, bright, and clean. The Aveeno Clear Complexion did also leave my skin feeling soft, but also extremely bright red and feeling irritated. I would definitely not recommend this product, even for acne sufferers, as there are many gentler products to choose from.

I absolutely love the Aveeno foaming face wash. It has a rich, luxurious texture that applies smoothly without needing water to lather up. The phone feels light yet effective gently cleansing my skin without any harshness after rinsing my face feels refreshed, clean and wonderfully soft. It doesn't leave any residue or dryness just a fresh healthy glow. If you're looking for a gentle yet effective face wash that feels amazing on the skin. This one is definitely worth trying!

I really like this product and have purchased approximately ten bottles to date. I'm well past the age where acne is an issue, but I still use it to control oily skin, though mostly because it smells fantastic. My only issue— and it's a big one for me— is that the pump bottle stops working after maybe eight pumps. No matter where I purchase this product, the same thing happens every time. After about the third or fourth use, the pump sticks in the depressed position and has to be manually forced up. This kind of defeats the purpose of the pump bottle. I have to either unscrew it and pour the product out or use two hands to operate the pump while keeping it from spilling out of my palm. Washing my face shouldn't be this difficult, and I think I may be finished with this product because of this issue. It's too bad because, again, the scent can't be beat, but apparently, the bottle can.

Really great product!! My teenagers and myself are using it and it works really well, prevents breakouts, non drying, smells great. Very gentle, the pump works great. Highly recommend!! Love Aveeno !!! Don't change the formula.

As someone with the dreaded combo of acne prone AND dry skin, finding a product that is both effective and gentle can be a chore. I usually stray from foams because they tend to be drying but that isn't the case here. I use it several times a week regularly and then every day when I'm breaking out. I've had great results with it reducing breakouts and haven't experienced any redness or irritation.

i mean, it's a standard face wash. nothing special or amazing abt it haha, but not bad either. i recommend if you need to use smtg while looking for a better one.

Aveeno Clear Complexion is a great choice for gentle skincare! It’s lightweight, non-greasy, and helps keep skin clear without over-drying. The soy complex and salicylic acid work well together to even out tone and prevent breakouts. Plus, it’s perfect for sensitive skin. I LOVE IT!

Very effective at removing makeup when you double cleanse. Fragrance free which I love, nice packaging, good ingredients, and the texture is fun to use because it’s a foam.

I expected this to be gentle on my skin but it was not. It dried out my skin terribly. I was left with red, splotchy, peeling patches of skin on my face. It literally stripped my skin of all oils and moisture. I thought it was just my sensitive skin but I let my daughter try it and it did the same to her. I would not recommend.

The actual cleanser is fine, leaves my face feeling soft…. That is if I can successfully get it out of the bottle and into my hands without spilling it. The pump ALWAYS gets stuck in the down position, and when I yank it back up I end up spilling the liquid that my hand was holding. Doesn’t foam well either. This bottle issue has been going on for years, through multiple product iterations. PLEASE FIX THIS!

I LOVE the CLear complexion cream wash. I feel like my face was so soft and clean. I can't stand the foam. First off, the pump is awful, its a fight to get it to work plus I don't feel the foam works as well as the cream. PLEASE bring back the cream and give us a choice of which one works best for each individual. I dislike the foam so much I'm gonna change to something else.

it feels nice, but don’t keep it on for too long or it will burn your face. Multiple times after using this product my face turned bright, red and splotchy. I am not allergic to anything in there and sometimes when I use it for a shorter duration of time it does not result that way.

My skin loves this cleanser, I can try different brands but I always come back to this one. The bottle gives me lots of good, foamy suds and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or tight. I have sensitive, combination skin and am prone to getting acne around my cheeks, but with this cleanser, I get less breakouts. With some other facial cleansers, sometime my eyes feel like they sting after I’ve finished washing my face, but that doesn’t happen with this cleanser.

I have very sensitive skin and have to watch what I use carefully, but I love it. It took my mascara off without any residue left behind. It made my skin feel soft and hydrated.

Very disappointed with this product. The bottle is faulty- the pump doesn't work right. It gets stuck with every pump, no matter what you do. When it does work, the foaming is so weak, more like a few bubbles, no actual foaming. I've shaken the bottle, I've rinsed the bottle and pump regularly to try to get it to work, to no avail. Today I finally gave up. Total waste of money. Also did not like the scent.

This cleanser is great for my acne prone skin. It was my first time trying a foaming cleanser and was worried it wouldn’t clean my skin enough but it did. The salicylic acid in this helps keep the acne away and I can tell a difference since using this. Will continue to use this, I recommend it.
