My kid always thinks that other shampoo “hurts” his eyes, but he has not complained about this one. This will be a product that I will continue buying. I take one star off the value because it can get pricey depending on how much shampoo the kid uses each time.

I bought this for my toddler after using baby shampoo/soap for 2+ years. I love that it’s still tear free, but includes conditioner and detangling. It has a very mild scent.

We love Aveeno products. My oldest has extremely delicate skin so I only have a small selection of products he can use without breaking into hives. We've used this product before and it didn't smell weird and it worked great. Idk if they changed the formula but the product smells weird and my son is starting to complain that it makes his head itchy. So, I will be switching him to a different shampoo.

It has a pretty strong fragrance that I could do without. I'm not sure what it's attempting to be, but it's just not a pleasant smell. I'd prefer it to be fragrance free. I won't be buying this again because of the yucky smell. (Floral chemical smell maybe? I don't even know)

Bought this to help with my daughter’s damaged hair. Hoping it would help keep her knots at a minimum when I brush it after a bath. It did not help. She also would cry saying the shampoo hurt her head. I thought she was just being a whiny kid who didn’t want a bath. I used it again the next time and got the same reaction. Next I noticed she was starting to get scabs on her head. I used the shampoo on myself the next day and it irritated my scalp as well. Throwing this bottle away. Also didn’t feel like our hair was clean.

It's only okay at detangling. And really to detangle it needs to be in the hair while brushing. So no rinsing and then brushing. I don't find it particularly moisturizing either, I tend to have static when I use it once my hair is dry. But I appreciate the price and the gentle ingredients.

Aveeno products are amazing, unfortunately this shampoo/conditioner didn't work as well as I expected. Our whole family uses this brand of bodywash and lotion, and I use their face products. My daughter has long curly hair and I wanted something that was going to add some conditioning without weighing it down. It washes well and the smell is light but sadly it doesn't seem to do anything to help with softness and tangles. I have to use a separate conditioner. I was really hoping this would work for her. It might work better for some people than it did for us. I highly recommend their body washes and lotions, sadly I can't recommend this.

This shampoo gave my sons hair a crazy odd texture. When dried, it’s crazy tangled and I have to put tons of de tangler spray in it to comb it out (it’s not long!). I’ll definitely be buying a different shampoo.
