My last experience left me with stained hands and blotchy orange legs. I tried b.tan love at first tan after a good exfoliating session. I'm pretty pale, and I didn't want super tan results. I let it develop for an hour before rinsing, I'm going to do it again in a few days to build up the color a bit. The mitt is such a game changer! No blotchy or streaky spots, no stained hands, just a healthy looking tan without any added nasties. b.tan is vegan friendly, cruelty free, sustainably sourced, and made with recycled materials. It's all around a great product.

The violet undertone complemented my natural skin tone beautifully. The application was easy, and the included glove was very helpful. It went on streak-free and dried quickly. I loved the results! My only concern was that it faded in patches, but I would use it again overall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This comes out like a foam more than a mousse in my opinion. It goes on immediately with color so you know exactly where it is. You really have to blend the product because as soon as it’s placed it wants to stay put and doesn’t appear to have any forgiveness meaning it would probably show lines and spots if not blended very well. It does have the standard odor which I’ve never found pleasant but I left it on overnight with some pajama pants so not to mess up my sheets and when I woke in the morning and took a shower none of the color rinsed off it all stayed put only the smell was eliminated. It had the most natural color of any tanner I have ever used. Not too dark not too light. I was impressed. It stayed on 5 days I believe so I was thrilled with the longevity of the product! Would recommend!

It is definitely easy to apply and you do not have any orange look. The smell was not overwhelming and it dried pretty fast. The color they sent was on the lighter side so we had to apply it more than once to get a shade we liked. But overall we have enjoyed this product and plan to purchase it in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scent was almost nonexistent, but definitely not displeasing in any way. I followed the instructions and tested a patch on my skin. I allowed it to sit for between 1.5-2 hours, which is slightly longer than the minimum recommendation. I then took a shower and avoided scrubbing or using much soap on the specific patch test area. After this, I did not notice darker skin at all. I specifically did it on the palest area of my thigh, but I saw no difference. My skin is not paper white, so that may be the issue considering the fact that this product is designed to be a light tan. Overall, I think this product just wasn’t for me, but could be useful for someone who is very pale.

For me it did come out a bit patchy in certain areas. Also, it did have that ‘fake tan’ smell. However the color did come out less orange! I got the ‘darker violet base 1 hour self tan mouse’. I would highly recommend this color for those who don’t want an orange/warm undertone for their tan.

I got every spot and didn’t miss any spots while using the mit. This tanner has NO orange tones in it which to me is amazing because I find that most do. It applies a beautiful natural looking tan. A sun kissed tan glow. It is my favorite!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an avid self-tanner and after years of sampling literally 100’s of tanners I have 1-3 that I prefer. I base them on color, application quality, how long they last, the color quality during the fazing and the smell of the product. That being said, this is not a bad self-tanner. The smell was not horrible. It was evident but the next day after a shower it was completely gone. It applied very easily with a glove and left very minimal smudging (just around my ankles). The color was nice but barely noticeable to be honest and I am pretty pale. Also, the color it did give me only lasted a couple of days where other self-tanners can last me over a week. I personally wouldn’t use it again but I might suggest it to someone that is very pale and only wants to be tan for a few days.

This is great to use in the winter when I want that fresh tanned look but don’t like going to tanning beds. It went on streak free which is a must!

I left it on about an hr, slightly longer. I have about half a bottle or more left and next time I'm going to do it even longer for a darker tan. I didn't notice any smell good or bad. I was worried about streaking but I don't notice any at all with the finished product.
