Q: How do you get purees vs mashes vs soft chunks with this tool?

A: The way to alternate between consistency, is to alter the amount of time the blender blends. For chunks, pulse the blender a few times and review to see if you achieve the consistency you want. For purees and mashes, it will require more blending time.

A: Yes just make sure they are fully steamed/cooked so they blend precisely. The Food Maker Deluxe can be used in one of three ways: Automatic Steam & Blend, Steam Only or Blend Only.

Q: How do you clean the water tank? The hole looks really small

A: We recommend the following to clean the water tank. Easily remove it from the machine and take off the cap. Then use warm, soapy water to wash it. One suggestion is to fill the tank with the warm soapy water, put the cap on and shake it ensuring the soapy water reaches all corners of the tank. Then make sure to fully rinse it before using again.

The blend function is ok. It purees quickly but doesn't do a good job rotating the food so it just keeps blending the bottom and lots of chunks left behind. When I tried to use the steam function it would work. Brand New, it beeps and shuts off after 30 seconds. I filled the water tank fully, everything is snapped into place, there is no reason it shouldn't work. I think it's just faulty. When you plug it in the screen lights up but then it like shuts off. Was a nice gift, sad it didn't end up working for us.

I've used this baby food maker maybe 15 times. I love it but unfortunately I've had the water tank cap break and the orange part of the blade. Great idea but low quality components make for a bad product. We'll see if Baby Breeza sends replacements.

This item stopped working less than 9 months after purchase because of a circuit board gone bad. It was not heavily used, and primarily only for the steam function.

The food maker is the third product by Baby Brezza that I have trusted for my baby’s feeding and nurturing and have been absolutely disappointed and crushed at my experience with them. Two of the three products, including the food maker, have stopped working within one week of owning them. As a first time mom I wanted the best for my baby and spent a significant amount of money on these products to be left cheated. For such an esteemed company their manufacturing does not align with their mission statement. I will never recommend such a company to other mothers.
