A: Hello Michael! Yes, the Infant Car Seat can be used without the base. However, if you are using the Infant Car Seat without the Base, place the Car Seat in a rear-facing position in a forward-facing vehicle seat. For proper threading of the belt through the Infant Car Seat without the Base, please see Fig. 41-1 in the Instruction Manual. Additionally, Check that the Infant Car Seat is level side to side on the vehicle seat. Check the Seat Angle Indicator that matches the weight of your child. Absolutely amazing first time mom here trying not to break the bank this is it!! The green color is so stunning I get so many compliments. I wanted this for the bassinet but the second car seat was extremely helpful in our second car. My son loves it. We use it 24/7. It’s a good stroller I liked it, before we had graco one for 4 years so this time we have a try for this stroller so, comparing to that stroller quality is little less than that one but I think it’s coz it’s suppose to be for light weight,the canopy is little bit short for summer and rain.The reason to buy this was the carriage style their is no as such problem in this stroller! Super duper smooth in run and of course light weight looks good in colour combo as well.About the car seat it’s not so spacious for healthy kids again light weight and little less in quality but I have no issues! We loved the stroller and highly recommend it’s a good option. Thanks to target the packaging was nice on time delivered and sale price was wonderful!!

Pros: I liked the stability, how easy it was to use and fold, and the price was great! Cons: Unfortunately, my baby hated the fabric. They would cry and get sweaty every time we used it. I had to place a cotton muslin cloth to avoid direct contact with the seat, but it got in the way of the safety straps. In the end, I decided to return it and look for a stroller with a more breathable, less plastic-like fabric.

This review will go way on the end of love and dislike so bear with me. I love that there is an option to make the seat into a bassinet and not have to switch it out for a separate bassinet accessory. It’s easy to fold down and lock when I need to stop. The thing I don’t like is the quality of the fabric. The fabric is terrible quality. It’s a scratchy, stiff, polyester/plastice of sorts. I can’t see myself even using the car seat because it just feels so uncomfortable. In the summertime it would be so hot for the baby. The quality of the wheels seem to also be subpar. I have had this stroller for less than 4 days and have used it once and the handlebar covers seams are coming out. So I’m still on the fence about returning the stroller and getting the one that I actually wanted that I know quality. But I had to review for others to know.

Buy now after getting the hang of it we definitely love it. The shade is big, it’s easy to switch back and forward facing, we even do it with big 2 year old still sitting in the seat. It’s a smooth ride. And can easily lay her down after she falls asleep. So much fits in the bottom and it’s a great stroller overall as long as you have the space for it.

This car seat and stroller combo is great for traveling as well as everyday use, it folds down compact for easy handling. Simply by pressing a button and pulling up, the stroller will fold up easily. The car seat will fit in the base easily and it is very easy to install in our vehicle. The car seat clicks in and out of the base and is very sturdy and well made. It also clicks into the stroller very easily too. The stroller has the bassinet that clicks into the stroller base and can be used many different ways like forward facing, back facing, laying as a bassinet, sitting up and a toddler seat. The stroller has a phone holder, cup holder, large storage underneath that has front and rear access, large mesh see thru canopy, 5 point harness and grows with child, car seat handlebar for extra safety and easy lift built in side grip. My wife loves this system for our son and her infant nephew. This system is well made and safe for infants to toddler ages. It even has a tool included that helps pull the seat belts thru the car seat to connect it. Everything with this system is easy to maneuver and even the brakes on the wheels are flip flop friendly and easy to lock and unlock. Assembly for this travel set is very easy as well with the included instructions. The canopies on both the stroller and car seat are great for keeping the shade off the children and all the straps are great for little ones to keep them safe. My wife and I highly recommend the Baby Trend Passport Switch Modular Stroller Travel System with EZ-Lift 35 PLUS Infant Car Seat for the ease of use and keeping the kids safe and the ability to open/close the system with ease!
