Q: What is the difference between gray tweed and performance gray? Does it look the same?

A: Performance Gray is the upgraded, new fabric version of the Toco Glider. At least 50 recycled plastic bottles were used in the making of this soft eco-performance fabric utilizing LiveSmart technology + REPREVE® recycled yarn. It is water repellent and stain resistant, while the Gray Tweed is not. The fabric color differs a little from Gray Tweed, as shown in the photos.

A: The fabric is made of polyester material. To preserve the hand-crafted quality of your furniture, we recommend using a cotton cloth and a non-toxic cleaner. For our upholstered products, we recommend using light foam cleaners.

Q: How far back and forth (inches) does the 'glide' motion move at its maximum? I'm trying to see if we have room for the chair to conduct its full motion.

A: The chair swivels back and forth minimally. When you swivel, it only goes back to about 2".

A: Hi! Unfortunately, our gliders don't have a locking mechanism so you can still glide/rock the chair even when the footrest is up.

I have had this chair for almost 4 years now and it as held up great. It does not squeak, the fabric has held up really well. It is very comfortable and perfect for nursing. I love the details on the side so I can rest my head to the side. It may be a little small for someone taller. I am 5' 3" and it is the perfect size for me. Definitely recommend buying this chair.

This glider is way too narrow, my baby is 4 months and already hangs over both sides. I'm a skinny person and I feel like I barely fit in the chair! Also, 3 months in and it started squeaking when rocking-- terrible product!

Horrible horrible mechanism!!! The base of the chair that glides is such poor quality. I bought this chair because it had good reviews and was a good price. After almost a year of use the chair started making a clunking sound, then it started squeaking so I contacted customer service. The chair was still under warranty so they sent me another one. I thought maybe the first one I bought was defective that’s why it’s squeaking so much but nope….. the replacement is making the same clunking sound and i didn’t even use it for longer than a month before the noises started. I kept the first chair in case of emergency and everyday it’s a new noise or squeak. My husband even use wd40 on all the hinges and nothing works! The sounds just get worse!!! My friend has the same chair and it makes the same noises. The chair itself is comfortable but otherwise nothing else is worth the $500. I’m ready to throw both away to the dumpster. Consider looking at other chairs!

Arrived imbalanced, one side was 3 inches higher than the other. We flipped the chair over to try to fix it but couldn’t figure out how. Now have to go through the hassle of returning.

I wanted to love this glider so badly; its beautiful, small enough to not overpower the small nursery, and I find it really comfy! My husband and I are both tall but not too wide, and we fit just fine in it, and can rest our heads on the back of the chair comfortably. HOWEVER, the whole dang chair is tilted to the right. Not like the cushion sags, the whole dang frame is tilted. My father and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to fix it. And of course with a new baby, I didn’t look into my return options early enough. So, if you like feeling like you’re on a tilt-a-whirl every time you’re rocking your baby to sleep, this is your chair.

I chose the Beach color because it looked tan. I thought it would be the color of sand. Nope, it's millennial grey. Lame. The chair dumps me forward so I have to use my legs to recline which is work, it's not relaxing comfort. Overall, it will do, but I would not have bought it if I had seen it in person before.

Do not buy this rocker. It looked beautiful at first, but after two years the pilling is terrible. Although, the description states stain free this is not accurate. It holds a stain and difficult to remove even with an upholstery cleaner. The ottoman, which is rarely used, is pilling, too. The small pillow loses its shape within a few months. Babyletto furniture, although beautiful on arrival, is truly not worth the price. We’ve purchased our entire nursery and every piece is beautiful looking, when set up, but doesn’t last with normal everyday use.

I've had this chair for two years now and it began to squeak slightly after the first year. We tried to put WD40 on parts we thought may be causing the squeak but never worked. Now with another baby and the squeak is so terrible I can't rock or it wakes baby up. Sounds like it's about to fall apart. Planning to buy a new one. The leg on the ottoman bent inward for no reason as well. Although this is a beautiful rocker BUY SOMETHING ELSE.

For the price of this chair I don’t know that it was worth it. It came in clear packaging but there were already marks on it under the clear packaging. It has several “dirty” spots and the legs on the ottoman are bent. It has been sat in a hand full of times and already looks like it has wear on it. Really pretty chair but i don’t think I’d recommend someone else purchase it

Chair started squeaking only a couple of months after use. No long term fixing it either. Fabric also pills and attracts/traps fuzz which you need to constantly use a fabric shaver to keep looking clean(er).

It’s pretty and that’s about it. I wanted to love this chair and for the other negative reviews to be wrong… but they’re not. This rocker grinds and we’ve only used it a few months. The rocking is completely useless because it grinds and makes a terrible noise that will wake your baby. So I only use it to sit and nurse and I swivel back and forth for a somewhat rocking motion. PLEASE save your money.

We got this chair off our baby registry and I was super excited that it was smaller and neutral colored however before my baby turned 3 months old the chair was squeaking SO bad and making thud sounds that it would wake the baby when we rocked in it. We turned the chair over to see if there was something with the glider and found 2 giant black grease stains on our white rug from the glider!!!! For this price point it is completely unacceptable that the chair does not function after 3 months of normal use and that it causes damage! BEWARE!

This chair is beautiful but it is the most uncomfortable and awkward chair to sit in. When you sit in it, it leans forwards. Just take my word for it, do not buy this chair, especially if you plan to breastfeed your baby.

I legitimately hate this chair. I never write reviews but I’m sitting in it now and just miserable about this purchase. First of all, it’s so small. So small. And I am not a large person by any means. My husband is average height and far from large - he never ever sits in this chair. Second, it’s SO poorly constructed. The ottoman does not rock so it’s useless. And flimsy, after only a months sporadic use, a leg broke. No idea how. The chair itself is SO light. The minute I stand up, it shoves itself back at least a foot. It’s insane. Also, it creaks. It is NOT comfortable. As I said, I’ve used this chair for a month *sporadically* but because I wanted to be extra prepared for the birth of my first child, I bought this chair months ago and the return window is now closed. To say I am upset about this purchase and the inability to rectify the situation is an understatement. PLEASE do not buy this chair. Spend the money and get something worth it.

The recliner is pretty and it came assembled pretty much. It is small and very narrow though. It’s fine for me but My husband is 6’2 and he looks too big for it. It’s fine for a nursery but I would have liked if it was bigger.

Aesthetically, I am pleased with this chair, and find it to be comfortable as well (I am on the smaller side, though). However, the fabric on the chair clings to everything, so it is impossible to keep clean. I have a dark dog who sheds, but is hardly in the nursery nor never on any furniture, and his fur gets stuck in the fibers of the chair and it is impossible to get out. There was also a large (albeit subtle), stain on the top corner of the chair. The chair was delivered while I was at the hospital, so it was assembled before I noticed, and with a newborn, didn't have the time or energy to request a new chair be sent. For the price, I would not recommend.
