Backyard Discovery Belmont Swing Set

Our granddaughter loves her new swing set! The quality is really good and my husband assembled it within a few hours. The stain color is a really good neutral, as well.

This thing is so cheaply built I 100% regret buying it. So far I have had to drill my own pilot holes, make some holes they have pre drilled larger and now I had a board split on my in the middle of putting this thing together. I would not recommend buying this brand ever!

The website made it look so sturdy and durable. Some of the boards split when putting it together. It's okay for kids 1-4, but I'm not as pleased with it as I thought I'd be. I'm just hoping it lasts for a few years.

Purchased this for our kids and they loved it. Problem was wood started splitting almost immediately. We’ve now had it for 1.5 years and it’s completely fallen apart. Every piece of wood is split in some form and the green tarps ripped in the wind. I know it’s not a $2,000 swing set but we thought it would last at least 3 years. Such a bummer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even after predrilled hole, a couple pieces of wood split. Those pieces were shored up with a block of wood. Overall, im very happy with the product/price point and would recommend to others.

I have no complaints about this set . I have only had it setup up for about 3 months now we will see how it holds up in the Florida sun .I would say it should. Use the app to put it together it will take 2 people for sure. My kids love it .I will And have recommended this .

A backyard playset has long been discussed in our household, and we eventually settled on the Belmont Swing Set. Small enough to be assembled by two tired parents and the perfect size for our little ones. Rather than level out an area of our backyard, as it slopes, we decided to use leveling blocks. With everything anchored to the ground it's been holding up great. Had some minor issues with wood splitting, but nothing that required any replacement pieces. I used the associated app to guide me through the assembly process, along with the paper manual which made life a lot easier. The kids like to swing high, so I do occasionally have to retighten a few bolts to keep the set from moving too much. Being in the south, it's been handling high humidity and wild temperature fluctuations pretty well.

We bought this for our girls for Christmas and I cannot believe how amazing this is for the money. It was very easy to put together, took about 10 hours total with a friends help…it’s very sturdy and haven’t had any issues with the girls and a bunch of their friends playing on it together. I would 100 percent buy from backyard discovery again in a heartbeat.

It’s perfect for kids under 100lbs. My son loves it and he’s almost 2 years old. I can’t review how the assembly went because we hired someone to assemble it but the company only took one employee and 5 hours to assemble.

Instructions were clear and easy to follow. But very disappointed for the quality of the good. For the price I was expecting something a little better. As we are setting up, the wood cracks and it seems to be very unstable. To be honest I will not recommend this playground as it very poor quality. If I were able to get my money back I will do it without even hesitating, not a good playground set.

Very nice swing set for the price and the kids love it. It did take us about 2 days with two people working on it.

There are several issues with this product! I will go down the list because for 800 and something dollars this should be better quality than what is offered. The first thing I would gripe about is the first thing you have to do which would be to lay everything out! I started by laying the wood out by what was supposed to be marked with a letter/number. When I tell you I had to guess on some because you couldn’t read the stamp that was either smudged, or half on board. The next thing I done was had seen all the screws,nuts, and bolts. For this price either they should have been attached with tape to the piece of wood possible in bundles, or even put in the tray packaging with the punch out label on the back. Was over 30 bags of items and made a dang mess once opened in trying to stay organized. The third thing is the quality of this wood. Did I expect top notch wood, I did not but for this price this was awful. I could literally bend the wood piece myself while holding each end. I thought to myself by this point to send back but thought we’ll just wait and see you bought it, you have tore open the boxes, not let’s just try. I had my father come help me that owned business in construction for over 20 years. When I say this he was so mad at quality as every time you put a screw/bolt in this piece of wood it would split. I mean even the pre drilled holes provided you would put bolt the through and tighten slowly to prevent splitting. Almost everyone it would end up split. Again I’m not expecting grade a lumber but this is absolutely unacceptable for this price. The whole package has been a nightmare and feel bad as this was bought for great summer activity and yet it is this pile of crap. I am requesting a box that is big enough to store this crap in and will gladly send this back. I do not want a replacement as the quality is not worth anymore of my time, and I will have to invest in different activity for my kids. I will tell people to save their money because I am so upset that I saved for this, and this is what I got!

We purchased this set as a Christmas gift for our daughter she's almost 3 years old. I think it's perfect for her age and size. Like previous reviews it is not for people that are more than 100lbs. It will only be my daughter and a friend that will play on this set. I had someone to assemble it and it took (on and off) 2 days to complete. Overall I thought it was a larger set for her to grow into but it's perfect for her size now.

Quality of the product doesn't seem that high for the amount of money I paid for it.

This size playset is perfect for our younger grandsons. The fort height is appropriate and the slide is not too long or high.

Customer service is exceptional!!! Had no problems with communication.

Overall a nice swingset. The wood is a little delicate, the small pieces are almost guaranteed to split so be careful. Also, a few holes were not pre-drilled and 2 supports came mislabeled, which made things a little difficult towards the end.

So far this seems like great quality. All the pieces were clearly labeled, directions were very clear.

I bought the Belmont playset for my granddaughter a year ago and it was the best thing we could have done. She is 4 years old and she loves having her own "park" at our house.
