I love it! It is adorable and my 2 year old daughter is in heaven! The directions were easy to follow. I wish that things could be put together in a different order because as a single mom who's 6' it was hard to get in there to put some of the items together. I panicked a little trying to get out when it was all put together. I did it off and on during one day while my daughter was sleeping or when I had my mom here to help watch her. Definitely can do on your own but it would go faster with a second person. I added my own personal touches (flowers, solar light, door mat, basket for play food/pots that were included and a wreath). I used 4" pots.

This is a nice playhouse but the quality is not consistent throughout. Patches of discoloration, rough cut edges, and the gap between the door and frame is unexpectantly wide. The design is darling and it was easy to assemble over a couple of nights after bedtime. I don't value it at full price but if you can apply deals like we did, it's great!

Out of the box it did have a bit of a strong smell but that dissipated as the build went on. I was worried that solo I would struggle since it said it took two people to build but there were only a could times that it made for a difficult but doable maneuver, probably would have sped things up a decent amount but it took me 2:05 plus maybe 15-20 min for unboxing and cleanup. I also built it in the dark with a headlamp while trying to be quiet after kids bedtimes. It’s all wood except a few accessories which is awesome. It’s been treated with something hence the smell but that should help it hold up outside. I never opened the instructions book, purely used the BILT app and pretty sure that saved me at least an hour. Some of the pre drilled holes were off but you can just send the screws and they didn’t split the wood. I had one very minor split on the swinging door that I ended up drilling after it cracked a bit but no big deal. The doorbell and phone should be big hits, will find out on Christmas morning 👍

This house is very cute and a great size. Some drawbacks are that it takes a considerable amount of time to assemble, the wood splits easily, and the door won’t stay closed unless your kid understands how to turn the knob to open and close it, which isn’t the easiest for small tots. My greatest complaint is that once installed, the doorbell is extremely hard to push for adults, unfortunately making it impossible to push for littles.

We are truly sorry to hear that you haven't had the most satisfactory experience possible. Be advised, we recommend getting a sealant on that wood to help prevent any future splitting or cracking. My kids love this house! It has such great special features- a cute phone, stove, flower holders, working door bell. I would have given It 5 stars BUT the door fell off last week after having it for just under a year. Would love to replace the door-the kids are heart broken

We bought one of these a couple of months ago and the kids absolutely love it! I’m not a builder (not even close) and found it straight forward to put together and easy to assemble from using the instruction manual and the app when we got a little stuck. The quality is great and it’s a very clever design which keeps the kids entertained for house playing tea parties and games. We gave it a clear sealing which was simple to do to waterproof it fully.

Every other negative review here is absolutely accurate. The house is so cheaply made. The white/black paint is so thin that you can see bare wood, it’s scuffed with black markings, and the paint coat is uneven with a lot of smooth and rough surfaces. At least half the guide holes to insert screws aren’t aligned so when you put pieces together they won’t be aligned. At least half the parts didn’t have holes to guide you where to insert screws. The wood is so frail and soft that it split in multiple areas when putting in the screws. With the weight/ size of the package, combined with time and effort spent putting it together for my daughter’s birthday, it makes it a hassle and inconvenience to try to return/ exchange.

Surprised my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter with this sweet tiny house Labor Day weekend. Assembly went smoothly thank goodness to my 34 year old son who is a perfectionist especially because some pilot holes didn’t line up. There were some paint chips and knot holes poking through but nothing a little white Touch up paint can’t fix. I had a blast adding my own accessories and personal touches to this adorable playhouse. My granddaughter was overwhelmed and while acclimating to her tiny house, so far the phone and doorbell were her favorites. Great little house, great price and my only suggestion would be to make it slightly larger. 4’ squared, another half foot on each side would make a nice difference.
