Summary of reviews
Guests appreciate the delicious flavor and crispy crust of the pot pies, often highlighting their nostalgic value and convenience for quick meals. However, there are concerns about the quality of ingredients, particularly the chicken and the amount of filling. Many guests have experienced issues with the bottom crust sticking to the tray and the presence of foreign objects, which detracts from the overall enjoyment. Despite these concerns, the pot pies remain a popular choice for a comforting meal.

We’ve bought these pot pies for years and love them but we’re really disappointed in them now. They’re so skinny, they’re more like a pot pie pancake.

Literally my favorite thing to eat right now, the chicken is SO good it literally melts in my mouth. Quick tip to everyone - USE YOUR OVEN!!!!! Yes, it takes longer, but it tastes so much better than microwaved.
SOGGY BOTTOM CRUSTS - BRING BACK ALUMINIUM

Good taste as expected, but ever since you switched from the aluminum pans to the cardboard/paper ones the bottom crust is ALWAYS SOGGY, no matter what I have tried. I'm at the point I give up and just eat the top and the filling, because the rest (sides & bottom) are ALWAYS soggy and gross. Bring back the aluminum, which is recyclable or figure out something. YOU HAVE TO KNOW THIS IN YOUR TESTING, and yet we are supposed to put up with it. But when you are forced to eat cheap food, I guess you get what you pay for.

I have eaten the Chicken Pot Pie for years and they have always cooked well in the microwave, however now when I cook them they do not crisp up and are deflated and soggy. Their flavor is still okay but the texture is not appetizing. It is not the microwave either because I have attempted to cook them in several different ones and have had the same result. I am very disappointed and I used to brag about how tasty they are.

For anyone looking for air fryer instructions, 7oz pie, I put in at 350° for 20 mins and it came out perfect. Just keep an eye on it to make sure it's not browning too much on top. I also left it in the tray.

What have you done? I grew up eating your pot pies for it was a delightful treat for me and my family living on a budget. The last few times I've treated myself to this comfort food choice I have been very disappointed. I've even remarked to my wife that I may be coming down with something, thinking my taste buds must be off. The flavor is bland and almost tasteless. Shame on you for ruining a great product and a childhood memory.

Delicious, but can you air fry a pie?

Googled how to air fry a Banquet Chicken Pot Pie and came across a bunch of ugly about the pies on your website. How in the world can anyone complain, what were you expecting, dinner at grandma’s? They're delicious, very cheap and fairly filling, and I’ve been loving them and sometimes living on them since they came out. Keep up the good work, but never did find the right way to air fry one…microwave works fine.

I used to absolutely love your pot pies. My favorite part has always been the crust. Crisp crust and chewy center was awesome. I ate them often with my grandfather who also loved them. He passed in 2023. He would always say the turkey had the best flavor and ask me to bring those. Here I sit eating Banquet turkey pot pies and I’m so sad. They taste nothing like the ones I enjoyed with my grandpa. Soggy crust and bland filling. I bought them specifically thinking of him and wanting to re-live one of the many lunches we ate these together. Such a disappointment. I feel like I lost another little part of his memory. Shame on you. A big part of having a company last, I would think, would be to not screw up a good thing. I’m going to throw away the others I bought and I’ll never buy them again. When someone has grown up on something, I happen to believe you owe it to your customers to leave it alone, in a world where there is so little a person can count on.

The potpies consistently turn out half raw after baking. The bottom crust becomes a gooey dough, the crust at top tends to burn all around. The inner ingredients are runny like being watered down. I have bought chicken pot pies and prepared them the same way about five times, same goioey dough and burnt outer crust!!😵

I just bought a chicken pot pie last week. Pulled it out to cook it and it has about 1/4 cup of flour on top of it. Not sure what the deal is with it. Not eating it. You want a photo? You owe me a pie!

I love pot pie! Especially in the air fryer. That's my only request is to put the air fryer instructions on the box so I don't have to Google it lol I love how it's a cheap meal all in one. I can't believe how many people complain about them. If I didn't need to make meals for my children, I would just buy pot pies for me. Especially in this economy. I love the beef and chicken kind. I love the crispy crust too! So perfect!!

Purchased two beef pot pies. After baking them we started eating them. To my surprise...nothing but gravy and about 4 carrots, 3 peas and NO meat. Glad they were on sale but sad I had to find other food to fix for dinner after a long day if work.

I’d give zero if I could. After cooking my chicken pot pit I took a nice big bite and started chocking. Once I got it up I realized there was a big blue piece of plastic in my food.
