Barbie Chelsea Pop Reveal 5.5" Shakes Series Doll with Scent & Color Change

She is a perfect size to fit in her purse and take her to special places we go. She enjoys the color change on her face and her bright, happy colors. She also loves the little pop pet and hat she came with but her favorite is her good smell.

My youngest personally loves the smaller Barbie’s so she was thrilled especially with it being a surprise and she got the one she was hoping for!

She loved the size of this as well. This Barbie fits perfectly into her dollhouse. Her and her friends collect these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So to start off, my kids are obsessed with blind bag toys and also the Barbie color reveal and pop reveal dolls. This is the first Chelsea doll from this line that my kids received and it exceeded my expectations. I thought it was just a little doll that wouldn’t hold their attention for long but it’s actually super cute and the accessories it came with were adorable. The little pet friend that comes with her is actually a fidget toy and that was another hit with my kids as they love to play with fidget toys. Her hair is scented and her face has color changing designs that appear and disappear when you use ice cold or warm water. The packaging the doll came in was cute and the toy itself is the perfect size for our set of travel toys we take with us on car rides or plane trips. My kids loved it so much we had to buy another one so their new doll had a friend to play with.

She loved the color changing hair and got a kick out of “popping” the accessories open. The doll and the little fidget accessory it came with are the perfect size to put in her little purse when we go out to dinner.

However I don’t see her playing with the accessories much after the initial reveal. Regardless this doll is a good unique addition to our overflowing collection!

My 6 year old daughter commented on how she loves the way the water had a neat swirl/glitter pattern as she swirled the doll around. The color on the doll transfers to the water and makes it an opaque swirl of color so you can’t see the reveal on the doll until after you remove it from the water. She loves the doll and finds her to be beautiful!

The liked opening it to see which Barbie they had gotten. The quality is just as good as the other Barbie products. I would recommend as a great addition to the Barbie collection.

My girls love adding new and fun Chelsea's to their doll collection. This one had fun and unique clothes and hair which my girls loved.

My 8 year old daughter loved opening it and thought the scent was really fun, she said it smelled like cake. The package came with the surprise Barbie, boots, a hat, and a little unicorn doll. She loved all of it and immediately ran off to play with them. The surprise factor definitely added value for her and I loved watching her open it.

Putting on and taking off her shoes. She was surprised at the coloring changing aspect of the toy which increased the amount of time she played with the doll. The one thing she like most about the doll was her hair—pink and blue. She also loved the smell of the doll. The packaging was child friend—easy to open so she didn’t have to wait for me to open her toy. The one thing that she complained about was the skirt not fitting and she wished the doll had a swim robe.

A quick tip—when squeezing the plastic to pop out the surprises, make sure it’s aimed away from your face since it pops pretty quickly and might catch you off guard. My girls thought this was hilarious and kept wanting to do it over and over, so we found ways to reset it for more fun. The doll itself is adorable and fits perfectly into their Barbie playtime. One of their favorite parts was the face-changing feature, which works with warm and cold water. We used a Q-tip to switch the expressions, and they loved the “cry” reveal while experimenting with the water. Overall, this Barbie is so interactive and entertaining—it definitely stood out among their toys. It kept them engaged, and they’ve already included it in their regular Barbie adventures. If your child loves surprises and imaginative play, this doll is a fantastic choice!
