Barbie Fashionistas Doll #186 - Sleeveless Love Dress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my first Barbie for my birthday. Then my family took me to see the Barbie movie. Barbie is a beautiful real-to-life doll with flawless skin and gorgeous makeup. She can stand alone in different poses. She is constructed very well and her fashionable attire is awesome. I am 68 and excited to add her to my doll collection.

I absolutely love this doll! To start off her hair is extremely soft and is a purple/maroon color, and I love how it is braided! She has a curvy body shape which means that she may not be able to fit in to some original Barbie clothing and her outfit might be slightly baggy on other dolls! She comes in a adorable pink, hot pink, yellow, and white tube like dress that says love on it! The doll also includes simple white tennis shoes! To finish her look off she has gold hoop earrings that are sadly not removable! I think overall she has a beautiful face that is only the slightest bit shiny/pixelated but, the shine on her lips doesn’t bother me because it looks like she is wearing lip gloss! She only has the typical 5 points of articulation “head, shoulders, and hips. Which is good to keep in mind if you are in search of a doll with more articulation! I think that she is an amazing doll and is very well prized! Very happy with this purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my daughter saw this doll, her first comment was on how pretty the braids are. The time that went into making this doll really stood out. She was so happy to see a doll that looked more like a real person.

I love the fact that this doll has a curvier, wider body than the normal "stick-thin" barbie. It does make it harder finding outfits for her to wear, though. Her hair is intricately braided and her face painting is more beautiful than I was expecting. She's not articulated on her arms or legs, but definitely worth the price.

It was very stylish very cute. I love her braids. And my granddaughter really loved it.

I fell in love with the doll on the target app but when I received her, her screen printed face is so shiny that it's actually difficult to make out the details. She is a truly gorgeous doll with a beautiful face mold and curvy body. I don't recommend this for doll collectors but I don't think kids would mind very much about the shiny face

She is brown skinned and full figured!

She is a curvy doll, which i appreciate as not all women are built like a more traditional Barbie. Her makeup is flawless. The hopp earrings give her just the right amount of spunk a little girl needs to see. My favorite is her hair. The little braids are a beautiful shade. And they don't tangle or mat like the other dolls. She can get put away and pulled out again as if she were brand new. She is a wonderful addition to our Barbie house.

This Barbie kept her attention for hours and added another great character for her playtime. The clothes are very stylish and the resealable packaging made a great carrying case.

The braids, the dress and tennis shoes, were all a reminder of her mom. This full figured representation of Barbie is also a representation of many of the women in today's society. To have a child yell mama when opening the doll says a lot. This is one Barbie, that was done with poise beauty and correctness in the eyes of a child that feels this Barbie looks like her mother. Wonderful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very cute Barbie, very dark skin which was nice. Her braids and reddish hair color is pretty. Her booty was a bit bigger than normal Barbie’s which is good but makes it harder to find clothes to change into.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty and ready for fun, this fashionista is gorgeous! My daughter kept saying, “She is SO pretty!” She has a beautiful face, sweet braided hair, and fun outfit. Noting her white athletic shoes, my daughter announced, “She is ready to go outside!” and out we went even though it was raining. Later, the doll got to try on some other Barbie doll clothes. (She fits Barbie Extra clothes great too! Love how most of the clothes swap so easily among the different dolls even though they’ve got different body types.) Yeah, it seems like her arms and legs are a little stiff compared to dolls who can bend at knee or elbow. Doesn’t seem to bother my daughter at all though; the doll can get around fine, drive the Barbie SUV, and play house with no problems! Oh, and one more thing- we love the new zippered packaging for the Barbie fashionista dolls! They’re great for storing the dolls but also awesome for other things like storing colored pencils, etc.
