Barbie: The Movie Ken Doll Wearing Pastel Striped Beach Matching Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our first Ken! My almost 6 year old was so excited to have a boy friend for her Barbie ! She loved playing with him in the Barbie dollhouse pool and even at bath time ! Her only complain was that she wishes he had “real” clothes so I explained he’s a surfer 🤣 and promised her he isn’t cold. I see more Ken clothes coming our way in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Barbie Movie Ken Doll is alot of fun for my daughter to play with him and his Barbie friends. He has a really cool light blue surfboard that when you put him on it, putting his feet in the holsters on the surfboard he stands!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great doll, very durable and exactly like the movie. My daughter loved it, and has been playing with it non stop. She really liked the clothes it came in but also enjoys making her own for her dolls. She has had so much fun with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An amazing Barbie Movie Ken doll! They hair and face looks just like Ken in the movie. The surfboard is a great accessory. The kiddos really enjoy that ken looks just like he does in the movie. I’m sure this doll will get lots of playtime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ken barbie is unlike other kens becaise it has real flowing hair. My daughter loves that about him. He is also bendable so can be put in many gun poses. One this we found difficult was to get him to stand up in the surf board without being held up or leaning against something. Iverall this is a really fun doll.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ken was a fun addition to the Barbie collection! My kids enjoyed putting him on the surf board and making him surf. It did take a few times to really get him on the surf board well. He also falls over sometimes when on the board but my kids didn't care. They enjoyed playing with him both on and off the surfboard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ken was disappointing. In the past, his hair, when plastic, was perfect. This Ken looks like he cut his own hair without a mirror to see the back. The hair was also very crispy and had plastic strings poking out. There’s nothing you can do to move it. His side profile is interesting. The live version of Ken did not translate well on the doll version. He quickly was tossed to the side because he can just be positioned and stands on his surf board. My daughter was unimpressed, but maybe a boy would be interested in seeing himself included in the Barbie lineup. The tie in with the movie was lost on my daughter, but would be more suitable for an adult collector.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 yr old loves her Ken doll! We appreciate that all of the joints are working so my daughter can pose him any way she wants. One of her favorite things is that Ken can stand without needing to be propped up! He can stand barefoot or with his shoes on, which is awesome, because she can stand him up on his surfboard and he will stay that way. I will say that her girl Barbie dolls aren't able to use the surfboard as well - it's definitely made for larger Ken-sized feet. His outfit is great - my 4 yr old has no problem getting this outfit on and off Ken or any of her other Barbie dolls. One thing to note is that the shorts have a single plastic clasp in the back and the shirt does not have a way to close it. The buttons on the front are all for show. My 4 yr old doesn't mind though!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] He’s Ken and his job is Beach! This Ken looks exactly like Ryan Gosling in the Barbie movie. Ken’s arms, legs, and head are all posable and move in a realistic way. He can even stand on his own! This is the first Ken I’ve seen with actual hair and not plastic hair. He comes with a surfboard as an accessory.

She had fun having Ken go of to the beach to surf and to give Barbie lessons on the surf board too. All in all very happy with Ken doll!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter LOVES this new Ken doll. She loves that his arms bend at the joints. She really likes that he came with a surf board but her favorite thing is his colorful outfit. He is definitely style a favorite addition to her collection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ken makes the perfect companion for Barbie and this is our first Ken doll. This Ken has blond, slicked back hair, which is held in place with some sort of glue/gel so it doesn't actually get messed up which I was worried about. His body is also completely posable as all the joints move so it's easy to adjust him on the surfboard he comes with. The surfboard has notches for his feet and it's large enough that Ken won't tip over when using it. His shoes and clothes are also removable, which my daughter loves in order to redress him.

There’s a lot of movement in the arms and legs compared to other Barbie’s. My kids love having the surfboard as well. He basically comes everywhere we go right now. And The quality is top notch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My granddaughter is a huge Barbie fan. She was extremely excited to get another Ken, having only 2 boys and a bunch of girls. She liked that he has blonde hair like her. The surf board was a bit confusing but after a simple explanation, she figured it out. She's 4 and loves all her Barbie things. I told her that mattel sent him to me especially for her! That made her pretty excited!

The pink and blue stripes with yellow polka dots on the clothes seem to go well together. The white shoes come off and go on easily. The dolls feet only fit the surf board when the shoes are off. We both wished the shirt was able to close but other than that we didn't have much issues. Ken also comes with bendable joints.
