After reading everyone’s reviews before making my lasagna, I chose to parboil for 4min. So glad I did, it turned out great! You could even boil for 5min. I’ll continue to use these for sure, no one could tell the difference!

Great tasting, easy to use gf lasagna noodles. The only recommendation I have is to not follow the directions as exactly written on the box, leave the foil on at least 10 minutes longer.

Even though it says you don’t have to precook this pasta, I would parboil it at least. I followed the directions exactly and they are still half hard. Dinner ruined. I have another box I will be using next week but will boil it first. Gave it 2 stars but recommended so long as you boil it.

My lasagna turned out sooo good. Tips: Use a heavy rectangle casserole dish (not glass or a metal). Make your sauce how you like it. I used a LARGE jar of my favorite sauce and I added some water (from rinsing the sauce jar). Heat that up. Cook and Add meat to the hot sauce. I used beef and ground sweet Italian sausage. Then, follow the instructions on the package and get to layering. I've never had a problem with these noodles. It's really the best lasagna I've ever had.

Was making a lasagna for a GF friend and am so happy that these were readily available at the local Target! They worked, but my usual recipe will have to be modified to include more liquid in the sauce; I made this the night before and the next morning, the noodles toward the top were all curled up. I added more sauce on top so it looked nicer, but after baking, the noodles were still a bit more crunchy/dry than desired. Next time, I'll leave the sauce more 'wet' by adding some broth, or will parboil the noodles in advance of assembling the lasagna.

These dont need pre-cooking and taste just like the wheat version. People eat it without realizing it's gluten free. We love Barilla gluten free pastas!! Personally, we like to make two lower 9x13 pans of just 3 layers instead of 1 high pan so that it cooks faster.

I cooked the exact lasagna recipe on the back of the box and the noodles were hard and no where near done at the end of the cooking time. Before going GF I cooked with regular oven ready Barilla lasagna and they always turned out perfect. I don't know why the gluten free kind took almost twice as long to cook and was still not done.

I cannot tell the difference between these and “regular” lasagna noodles. The texture is perfect although it can be challenging to spread the ricotta cheese over them since they slip around. (I finally spread the RC on the dry noodle first and then placed it in the pan). Make sure you have plenty of sauce for the noodles to “hydrate” or your lasagna will be a bit dry.

I followed the on-box recipe instead of the one we normally use, since that one is not for no-boil sheets, but the end result was tasty and very close in consistency to non-GF pasta. I will say that the end result is a bit lower than non-GF San Giorgio, but that's a small price to pay for decent GF lasagne.
