Barton Floor Lamp Antique Brass - Adesso: Modern Adjustable Height, Metal Body, Polyester Shade

I love this lamp and have two of them but giving one star because I bought this in July 2023 and then again two months ago in January 2024 and both times the lamp was under $110.00 and now it’s listed for $168.99. Ridiculous.

Overall, the lamp is pretty I like that it has an adjustable piece to move your lampshade to make it taller or shorter however, the construction of this lamp is trash. you have a very small bolt in the bottom that screws the entire lamp together which each section screws together, the first time I went to move the lamp not aggressively just pick it up like a normal the rod completely detached from the base and every so often it'll just collapse, so I have to push the bolt from the bottom and screw the lamp together. I shouldn't have to do that. It's done it to me at least five times since I ordered it. I wish I would have returned it the first time. I'd say that's a dealbreaker when your lamp just falls over the three sections that screw together. Good luck getting them tighten down and straight. They are crooked which probably doesn't help. The construction of the lamp. Shade is pretty, the color is not what I expected either I would pass on this you can probably buy a much better lamp for cheaper.

I really like the lamp itself, it’s exactly what I was wanting. The only thing is that it definitely came in with minor scuffs and dents on the base and assembly pieces. Not enough for me to want to go through the hassle of a return and reorder it but noticeable if you’re looking at it. It was wrapped well so it must have happened during the manufacturing and packing process. It also is very uneven. It was easy to put together but with it being a lamp you expect it to be straight and the assembly of the lamp shade and entire top area is not proportionate which causes it to slightly tilt. I was able to kinda manipulate the pieces to where it stood straight but there definitely could’ve been a little more care put into this. It’s not a super expensive item, but it’s not cheap either so you expect decent materials and care to be put into it.

The lamp is lovely but the lamp pole is crooked… maybe I just have bad luck and the rest assemble great but I’ll have to return.
