Q: Is the base really bronze or black?

A: Hi - it is a bronze finish. You can get a better idea of the finish color from some of the close-up detail images. It is a darker bronze, however, so under some room lighting conditions it is going to appear almost black. Hope that helps out! Thank you for the question.

Lamp was packaged well and easy to assemble. The two bulb design is nice and provides lighting flexibility. I love the simple, clean design of the lamp. Can be used in any room. The shade is a neutral color and is large adding some style. Be sure you have room to accommodate the shade. The lamp was a little pricey. Wish I could’ve found it on sale.

Very happy with this lamp, the shade is a bit larger than I expected but it looks good. Makes plenty of light which was important. Assembly went ok up to the finial which needs a better photo. I could not identify it and thought it was the little nut on top.
