Q: How thick are the mug's rims? I have been looking for mugs with a thinner rim. 1/16th inch or 2mm or less. It seems like many mugs have a 3+mm or 1/8th inch rim.

A: I bought these yesterday (1/5/21). The rim is 3 mm. (As it happens, I'm replacing mugs with 5 mm rims, so the new ones seem quite thin to me! ;-P ) Good luck on your search for the right mugs for you.

I Love these cups. They are thin enough around the lip of the cup that I like. They are a perfect for a 10 oz cup of coffee. They got with my Milk glass collection I have. Washes well in the dishwasher. Worth the money.

Love the look of this mug. Unfortunately, they are not very durable. They chip very easily. I guess for the price I houldnt complain but felt it should to mentioned. I just replaced two that were only 3 months old bc they chipped. But i do like the look and the feel.

This is a really good mug!!! For one, it's porcelain, which is the strongest ceramic that I know of (though feldspar porcelain is better than regular porcelain). Porcelain is the material that our kitchen and bathroom fixtures are made from, because stoneware is too weak comparatively. So, the materials of this mug are pretty much at the top of the game. Plus, it also appears to be high fired, because it doesn't stain!! High fired is the best!!! I truly love this mug and plan on getting more, and I hate to give it only four stars, but I gave it four stars because the handle is not the best. It's too round, and it should be flatter, like a strap. The roundness makes it wobbly in your hand. The half-heart shaped handle is the most ergonomic and comfortable design, and I can tolerate this half circle shaped handle, but it really needs to be more strap-like to be a good handle with no complaints. The pebbled texture is amazing!!! If you like the cottagey and/or Victorian aesthetic, then this mug is iconic! But, I like the pebbled texture because it's cute and classic, plus, it makes it ten times easier to hold!!! The pebbles make the mug more grippy, which helps to compensate for the wobble feel from the handle. This mug does get darned hot, though, but after it cools, the pebble texture makes it a wonderful mug to hold because not only is it grippy, but the pebbles allow you to somewhat control whether you hold the mug tightly, or more on the surface of the pebbles ---this helps to moderate the heat, in case the mug is a little on the warm side for holding. I am not one to hold mugs on their sides, as opposed to their handles, but this mug with the hobnail texture gives me the option to cozy up and hold the warm mug if I wanted to!! I'm very picky about mugs and I super recommend this mug!!! I'm going to get more for myself and as gifts!!!

Darling and amazing price! Love the beaded feature. I ended up buying several. I’ve owned these for 2 months now and they do start to wear and tear a bit. The edges are chipped and the porcelain paint is beginning to chip on the inside only Other than that, I do love this mug.
