The essential oils in this serum have a sandalwood and sea salt scent. The serum is oily and it does have a shine added when used. By adding a drop full every other day, the oils are to boost your mood. This is a nice addition to my haircare routine.

Totally different. I’ve been using the full Salty set (shampoo + serum + perfume oil) twice a week, and even with the serum, my hair looks fresh and clean the next day. No greasy roots! It absorbs well, doesn’t leave any weird residue, and just makes my scalp feel clean and balanced. The whole system has honestly surprised me. These products have become new staples in my routine, and I’m loving the results.

That way it seeps in during the night. It absorbs into your skin easily but the scent lingers in a pleasant way. You don’t need to use a lot of the product for it to be effective. It’s so lovely and I highly recommend it.

It’s a liquid consistency. I poured a few drops on my head, but overall, I didn’t see any effect of it besides making my head smell good. I don’t know if I would personally buy this unless I’m just using it for in between washes so that my hair doesn’t smell bad or after the gym I can see this being used. Sounds like a freshen up for your scalp, but I don’t really see the benefits of it after trying it a few times

I used it on wet hair because I think it would make your scalp oily if used on dry hair. I don’t think it changed my scalp/hair in any way but I will continue to use it.

My dandruff seems to be getting better since starting to use this actually, which was unexpected. The scent is the same great smell as the “salty” perfume oil which I already enjoy a lot! The dropper works great and this doesn’t make my hair greasy, which was my biggest concern. Overall a great product!

My scalp is pretty normal so I can’t comment on any soothing properties, but this was a luxurious experience regardless. Docked a star for the dropper - mine doesn’t work well which makes getting the propped dose difficult.
