Bell + Howell Rogue Monster Trapper – Ultimate Indoor/Outdoor Insect Killer

It did indeed get many bugs, it doesn't discriminate, nor are only some attracted to it, most were. It didn't make a loud jolting noise as I halfway expected, but rather a slight electric ting could be heard when a few bugs would fly in at once. I recommend hanging in a corner, as it gave the best coverage area of keeping bugs at bay.

I have used it only indoors thus far, but it is working well at taking care of the insects that pop in when we open the door even for the shortest of time.

The bugs are then contained in a compartment in the bottom that sucks them in. This is perfect for summer nice when we are hanging out as a family!

I didn’t think it would be able to “treat” an area the size of my deck which is about 100 square feet. We always normally use bug away candles but hate the smell. I set this up and within two days it had to be cleaned out. I couldn’t believe it. I think it trapped every mosquito in the neighborhood. I love being able to sit outside now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Texas where the bugs are huge, especially mosquitoes. I enjoy sitting outside, but sometimes I don't due to the insects. I placed my Monster Trapper outside on the back porch. It's so nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air with out constantly have to swat at a fly or mosquito or having to cover myself my insect repellent. The Monster Trapper is great at taking care of gnats, mosquitoes, flies, and other small bugs. It's definitely made my back porch much more enjoyable.

We can actually enjoy eating outside without being invaded by flies, and other insects buzzing around. It has a soft glow that isn't to glaring which is nice too in the evening. It is small enough that it will be easy to take camping with us too. I like that it can be hung up, or sit on a flat surface.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was much smaller than I thought it would be plus it requires electricity to use. It comes with a very short cord that you have to plug in which means that you have to keep it close to a power source and so you can't put it out in your yard or away from you. That means that you really can't get away from the bugs. It does just an okay job at zapping bugs because of its small size. I would not recommend this due to it having to be plugged in and its small size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mosquitos love me. If there is a single mosquito in a mile radius, it will find me. This Bug Zapper DEFINITELY reduced the amount of mosquitos in my backyard. I can out with fewer bites in general. However, I was hoping it would work a LITTLE better. I love that it vacuums them in and traps them but sometimes it seems like the mosquitos dont get into its range enough. Less bites is definitely good though!

I was really excited to try the Monster Trapper Bug Zapper. We have lots of mosquitoes around our pool so I decided to set up the bug zapper there. The first day it zapped DOZENS of mosquitoes and other bugs like moths. I was shocked how many it got. Over the course of several days it had so many bugs that I decided to clean it. It really does work gresr!

I have tried so many different pieces of equipment for bug control that I had nearly given up but the monster trapper does just what it says. Super easy to install, just plug in and set on a hard surface or hang by the attached metal loop. The uv light is bright and attracts lots of different types of pests. The fan is strong enough to pull nearly anything into it but not loud so you can still enjoy the area the trapper is located. I live on a lake in south Mississippi so mosquitos are a huge pain! This little powerful thing has really helped so much!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a Gem of a Find for me! I live in the South, Bug City! This handy device is a blessing for outdoor chilling. All you have to do is plug this baby in and it goes to work. I would recommend setting it on a tabletop nearby where you are relaxing outdoors. You can mount it, or hang it up but I like it to sit close by. After plugging it in, a handy Blue light turns on. Can you say bug magnet? Now to catch the little bloodsucking varmints it has an awesome sucking vacuum inside that sucks them right up. It collects the army of bugs in the bottom that has a easy swing open trap door that you empty them after they have expired. I absolutely love that I’m not having to spray chemicals to prevent bugs from eating me alive while I’m outside. I can now relax, enjoy the scenery, and sip my sweet tea without worrying if I’m the bug magnet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this on our porch for a week, and have caught a number of bugs already. It’s not very large, so it’s not intrusive. Very easy to use, as you just plug it in. There is a blue light that comes on and the insects are attracted to it. They get sucked inside and trapped. We put it on a table away from any lights so the insects go directly to it. There is no zapping sound or smells. There is a hook on top if you want to hang it. Very easy to use!

It's light and portable so we can hang it on a hook on our patio or sit it on our wood railing and the fan has a sort of vacuum cleaner effect-bonus! It's also super easy to clean. However, because it is electric I didn't feel comfortable using it while it's raining, even under a cover patio.

First of all this is a great size- only about 1 foot tall- and is very nice looking. I love that it can be placed on a tabletop (or similar) hung by the top hanging hook or mounted to a wall. I sat mine up on a side table on my back porch. This is seriously the easiest thing ever to use because you simply plug it in and turn on. Once turned on, a blue UV bulb lights up, to attract flying insects and a dan sucks them inside. They are then trapped and out of sight! Once your trapper is full. You just open the bottom cage to dump out. The design is wonderful as it provides 360 degrees of protection- which here in the south, is super important! The monster trapper works better than anything else I have tried before and I love that it is safe for around children and animals- as it doesn't use chemicals. All in all, this is the best product for insects, including those pesky mosquitoes! I love the design, the simplicity, low maintenance. I would suggest everyone have one of these and I can't wait to get one for my front porch as well! Tips- don't set up next to other light sources- this is the secret weapon and draws the insects in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bug zapper works good to capture unwanted bugs. All you have to do is plug it in and it works. The light aatracts bugs and the fan sucks them into the mesh area to die off. I like that you can see how many bugs are being held if it gets full you can just unscrew the bottom mesh part and dump the dead bugs out. It also very quiet when it runs so no bugging there or zapping noise. Theres a hook on the top so you can hang it up or just set it on a table iys your choice. I have mine in my basment which always has bugs and it definitely works well I can see it filling up more everyday.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bug Zapper is not your old school one that was blinding and distracting. This one is quiet even with the fan running the entire time. It has a more comfortable blue UV light that attracts more bugs. It is early in the bug season here in Ohio and it is attacting bugs. It is a very simple set up. You take it right out of the box and plug it in. It is then ready to go. I am going to pick up a second one as we are campers and these will surely reduce the bug traffic.
