Q: I purchased this early October… And decided to use it for the Christmas holiday. My box is missing the measuring cap that goes on top of the lid. Since I’m unable to return, what else can I use in lieu of that measuring cap?

A: If the lid was missing in the original product, I feel they should except a return of item and a completely new one be shipped to the customer. It's a defect in the company's inspection dept.

I really liked this popcorn popper with the one big exception that it consistently spit out about 1/4 of the unpopped popcorn. So, I am returning it and going back to the Orville popcorn popper. Sadly this had some nice features that Orville does not have like the on/off button. But it was not worth keeping for so much wasted kernels.

Popper heats fast but the design is off—inside area has a gap where kernels have gotten trapped inside the machine. Popped corn also gets stuck if you have too many kernels at one time.

The opening that the popped kernels are supposed to come out is far too wide. It spits out way too many unpopped kernels, and then some of those kernels pop in the bowl which sends popcorn flying. It is admittedly pretty entertaining, but very chaotic. It does this consistently. We had a machine from a different brand that worked perfectly for over ten years with different brands of kernels. This one is just poorly designed.
