Let me start by saying, I LOVE Benefit's other mascaras, in particular They're Real and Fan Fest. But this formula flaked IMMEDIATELY. I didn't even walk out the door and it was flaking.

I used this mascara for YEARS. Then they changed the formula. I emailed them when I first noticed it and they flat out lied and told me they didn't. So me being trusting in the brand. I bought it again and again. Each time a huge disappointment. I know they see everyone complaining and they still won't change it back. Just don't waste your money. MAC has a few good ones that I found. But nothing compares to the old formula.

I bought a 2 pk, use it daily. Went to use second mascara and it was dried out. Return window passed and return or exchange was refused. Very disappointed. Thus was thru Benefits themselves

This mascara is a great way to get volume and length. It only takes a few swipes to get perfectly sculpted lashes. The only downside is that it transfers HEAVILY. By the end of the day, I've had people ask me if I put on black eyeshadow on my lid( I only wear mascara???) It also transfers to my under-eye and looks like I have never slept. ( I don't put mascara on the bottom lashes.) Benefit, this mascara is SO GOOD but for the love of God, please make it less smudge proof. I have even caked my lid and undereye with powder to make the surface less oily, and I still look like I have two black eyes.

this is the greatest mascara on planet earth. doesnt flake. builds beautifully. PERFECT spoolie, but i dont wear black mascara, its much too harsh on my skintone. pleaseeeee bring back brown ;( i miss it so much!!!!

I have sensitive eyes, so at the end of the day most mascaras ive tried end up flaking into my eyes and irritating them. Ive found more mascaras are definitely more guilty of this then others. I was really excited to try this mascara but what was really disappointed to find that it took too long to dry after applying and would smear and I never made it to the end of the day without my eyes getting super irriated from the mascara. Gave up after about 4 uses and i went back and bought a mascara I know wont give me the same issues

I genuinely cannot come up with one positive thing to say about this mascara. It doesnt add any length or curl. Lashes are stuck together, not separated. It has smudged under my eyes within 2 hours of application.

Love the brush, smooth as silk, goes on like a dream. No clumping! But by the end of the day I've got bleed under my lower lashes. Bad Gal Bang! Waterproof is the only one I can wear all day. Please make a waterproof version of this!

Wore it for years and no more. Used to be so good and now it is goopy and transfers everywhere to the point you can't wear it and I live in a dry climate. I returned it thinking I just got a bad batch and second tube was the same. Returned that too. So sad and like many recent reviews, on to find a new one!

When I first put the mascara on, I was in love with how long my lashes were! But throughout the day, I noticed smudging below my eye and under my eyebrow. I have very hooded eyes so my lashes are always touching my brow bone and I was constantly wiping away mascara smudges. At times, there were smudges below my eyes as well and it looked like I had raccoon eyes. Another surprising thing was how hard it was to remove all the mascara at the end of the day. For how easily it smudged, it took a lot of swipes with the makeup remover and even after washing my face, there was still smudging under my eyes that gave me a raccoon eye look. Really disappointed in this mascara.
