Nice table, but…

This table looks great and was what I was looking for, except for three things one should be aware of. 1) It arrived in good condition but packaging material was awful stuff. Very fragile styrofoam, which somehow reacted with a wrapping on the feet and required GooGone to remove. Not to mention the mess of styrofoam pellets. 2) Instructions could have been more explicit, as the stand has to go into the base a certain way or the top ends up off kilter. I corrected my assembly, but 3) table is still not stable. Where there is no fourth leg, I could see how a slight bump or to much weight on that end could cause the table to tip. A light push with my hand on that end allowed it to fall over. Finally, I could see that the very lacquered top would need constant polishing - lovely to look at but a pain to maintain.
