A: Yes, 7.5ft is approximately 90" in diameter. If the table is 27" round, umbrella canopy will provide more than adequate coverage and shade. It's possible to find smaller umbrella, however, BCP doesn't have one in its current lineup.

Considering it's still winter, and I just opened the box. I didn't open it in the house. The first thing I noticed was the Velcro wrap that went around. The umbrella didn't make it secure so whoever designed it must've did it in their sleep the Velcro was put at the end of the wrap Not to make it secure around the umbrella.

We put this out on our patio, a protected spot, in early June. It was gently used: we cranked it closed in wind or heavy rain, but it otherwise stood open over our small outdoor dining table through the summer. Less than 4 months later we noticed that one of the connecting pieces for one of the ribs or spine had spontaneously broken. To the trash it goes. I suppose one season of use is all we should have expected for the price.

Why do they even sell umbrellas for higher prices than this one when this design is perfect… came assembled, light breathable material, water beads off easily, the cream color is accurate in the listing: not white, more like a warm cozy cream. I have not had any issues with broken pieces from wind damage likely due to my very heavy duty weighted base. My only complaint is that it doesn’t seem to sit exactly 100% balanced straight up and tight in the anchoring hole (which may be my base) but it’s not enough off enough to deter me from getting another, and not a safety issue. Do yourself a favor and invest in a great base, and get this umbrella for your space. What a deal. Thank you!
