A: Hi david, I will be more than glad to answer you inquiry about our Tufted Split-Back Futon Sofa. The item only requires an Allen Wrench to assemble it and this wrench is provided within the package, it only needs 12pcs of 5/16"x2" screws and 1" washers which are also included, these and the rest of the parts are inside a compartment located at the bottom side of the sofa. Terrible quality - front leg broke within 2 months; the fabric is rough and uncomfortable and almost no padding so you feel the frame under you when sitting or laying on it.Yes, it is inexpensive but regret wasting my money on this product. Bought it 4 months ago and aready threw it out because it broke. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this product.

This futon looks very nice. I’m happy with the quality and I think it should hold up pretty well for years to come. I bought this for guests to spend the night so I can’t comment on how comfortable it will be to sleep on. It is comfortable to sit on. I did have problems with two legs that would not screw on tight. I had to have my husband screw them in for me. Other than that, the futon was easy to set up.

Broke the first day! Flimsy, thin wood, hard as a rock, uncomfortable, and ugly. The structural damage is not worth paying a penny for. The arms are sagging from the middle. I’ve only had it for a week. I’m having to use the frame from my old sofa to hold it up. See photos.

Lasted well and was comfortable for about 2 months. First couple uses as a futon was great, but now it is so uncomfortable and hurts my back every time I lay on it for a nap. The couch “cushions” have been squashed and inverted as well, and my husband and I are not heavy people. For the price, this futon is a very poor value.

Please spend your money elsewhere. We purchased this futon and it was fine for a few months (though not super comfortable), but soon it began sinking. After sitting on it one night recently and falling nearly to the floor, we opened up the bottom and the springs have been coming loose. It looks cheaply made, which is frustrating considering how much it costs. We have had it for about 14 months and have to toss it. We probably should have tossed it months ago. This futon is NOT worth it for the price.

This futon looks good and the price is good but it didn't last long. It's very uncomfortable to lay on, the arms got loose and the seat cushion sunk in so deep. It will probably be more practical for looks only or very minimal use.

The sofa is very poor quality. The back does not align with each other. The material has imperfections causing wrinkles on the left arm and on the top. One arm has indentations from the packing that are very noticeable and will not come out. The pillows have some kind of writing on them that will not come off and are very poor quality. When calling Best Choice Products was told there was nothing they could do to help.

Didn't expect much for the price but it still didn't meet the low expectations. First one arrived with broken feet and had a metal piece sticking out which made it unsafe to use. The two sides also didn't match up evenly. The second one (replacement) had holes that didn't match up evenly so the legs/feet ended up looking crooked. Feels cheap and flimsy. Overall just very bad quality and craftsmanship. I'm not expecting this one to last more than a few months.

This is a well-made futon. It's sturdy and easily converts to a bed. It has not yet been slept on; however, it does seem comfortable. The throw pillows are decorative only as they are flimsy. Other than that, the product seems great. This futon was worth the cost.
