Q: How do you install casters?

A: Both file sizes have been tested successfully together, however, as in how many can fit is a metric not tested.

Q: How do you attach the wheels to the file cabinet? I purchased this file cabinet because of the style a couple weeks ago. I had to return it because I wasn't able to attach the wheels.

A: Hello - please note you can remove the leg stubs that are attached by twisting and pulling them off. There will be an opening where you can screw in the wheels

I have purchased this type of filing basket beforefrom Overstock, but the company is gone now. So took a chance that product this would be similar, and overall I was happy. The casters are slightly different - they have to be screwed in with a little wrench (supplied) and they come with "brakes" on them. It's maybe a quarter of an inch shorter than the other ones I have, a slightly darker shade, and it comes with the leather latch, which makes it look a little sleeker. The best part? It showed up at my house 24 hours after ordering it - regular shipping and well packed with no dents or issues.

It looks nice but it feels very cheap for the price and I can’t get the knobs off to attach the wheels, like others in the comments have said. I’m returning this. I don’t trust that it won’t rip when I feel it with files and it gets heavy

this is a nice quality and convenient for home office. Mine is a corner of my family room so this slides under my small desk and gives the ability to stay organized in a small space. it's attractive - I doubt anyone would guess it's a file

Adequate, but attaching the casters is very difficult. The receptacles are not set straight so you can’t get all the wheels in evenly and it is a struggle to get them screwed down. The instructions don’t say anything about removing the feet that are already there so if I hadn’t read the reviews, I wouldn’t have been able to figure out that the feet come off—they don’t slip off easily. But it is attractive and it will do the job, I’m talking about imperfection but not cause for return. This was exactly what I needed for the space but it is over priced considering they cut corners on the caster assembly.
