I am so sad, something is wrong with the Olive Oil mayo. I have been buying this for years, nothing else, and recently the taste has changed, it has very strange taste, I cannot even describe it. At first I though: perhaps my batch is bad", so I returned it and bought two others with different batches. They are both disgusting. I read the ingredients and found nothing different, yet something is very different. I am sad, but will no longer use this produce, nor will my entire family. I had they all taste it and each one said: is this spoiled?
I was pleasantly surprised. The taste is great

I've been buying Best Foods Olive Oil Mayonnaise and was perfectly happy with it until my last purchase. I purchased 2 jars and the olive oil has separated. I have to shake the container to mix it up and still isn't creamy. I used it a week ago and wasn't feeling well afterwards but didn't tie the ill feeling to the mayo until today. I made sandwiches today using the mayo and got sick vomiting about 2 hours later and my husband felt ill as well. It was the only thing I ate today and belive it was the mayo. I will not be buying the olive oil version anymore.

Have used your real Mayonnaise for years. But just tried my first jar with Olive Oil, (ordered in error) I'll try it I said, a bit skeptical, but I LOVE it. Enjoy the taste over the Original, much thicker, unless it's my imagination, and seems to enhance the flavored however I've used it. Thank you again so much for continuing your products.

Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend

So disappointed to see in the very fine print near the bottom of the back label that this contains a Bioengineered food ingredient. Just when you are think you are picking a healthier mayo. How sneaky is this.
1 reply from BestFoodsExpert team - 2 years ago
Thanks for reaching out. Our ingredient supplies have not changed. The label text was added this year for a new USDA rule. In North America, nearly all soybean & canola crops are bioengineered (GMO). We do offer an organic non-GMO option. For more information, please visit https://www.unileverusa.com/brands/learn-about-my-food-bioengineered-gmo-foods/

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really into the creamy texture of this Mayonnaise. The fact that it's made with simple, basic ingredients is a big plus for me. I use it in sandwiches and salads, and it elevates the flavor of my food so much. Unlike some bland, artificial-tasting mayo in the market, this one feels natural. Another thing I love is that it's high in Omega-3 and Vitamin E.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best Foods mayo is as good if not better than other name brands. It has the best taste. It is very rich and creamy. I like that it is made with quality ingredients. Adding olive oil to it also makes it a healthier product but doesn’t effect the taste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] his mayonnaise is truly amazing! Not only is it made with simple basic ingredients, but it is also incredibly creamy. The low caloric olive oil used in this mayonnaise is not only good for our health and kidneys, but it also doesn't alter the flavor of the mayonnaise. This makes it perfect for sandwiches, salads, and even as a base for some of our family's favorite dipping sauces. I highly recommend this mayonnaise to anyone looking for a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional mayonnaise. So go ahead and give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I love the Best Food brands mayonnaise, the Olive Oil mayo unfortunately was not my favorite. Not sure how to describe the taste, it seems like a generic version of the original. It still has a mixture of other oils and maybe that is why it tastes the way it does. I would not reach for this flavor of mayo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mayo is a staple in our home but unfortunately this fell flat for us. Found the texture to be a little slimy and you could taste the oil change in it. Ingredients seem better for you but I don't see this as a buy again for us

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the taste of regular mayonnaise but wondered if a mayonnaise made with olive oil would taste just as good. So I thought I’d try out Best Foods Mayonnaise Dressing with Olive Oil to see if it tasted just as good as the regular. Opening the container was really easy to do. I do like that this mayonnaise has 30% less calories than the regular version. I did notice that the consistency was a little more runny though but I was alright with this. However, if I was making something were consistency in the product matter, I may not consider using this as it may make the end product a little more runny. As for the taste of this mayonnaise made with olive oil compared to regular mayonnaise, I couldn’t really tell the difference. Which is great, especially if I need to control the amount of calories in my diet. I will be looking for this Best Foods Mayonnaise Dressing with Olive Oil the next time I’m needed to purchase a mayonnaise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always trust Best Foods products and this was no surprise that it would be great. I used it as a dip for artichokes and it was perfect and I didn't have to add any seasoning or anything. Great texture too! I very much recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mayonnaise was a light fluffy texture and spread easily. It did not taste oily and is perfect for sandwiches, pasta salads and dips. I think the jar is too large for what my family will typically consume and was fairly easy to open. The olive green color on the package was nice because I felt it helped remind me that it was olive oil mayonnaise I was grabbing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Best Foods Olive oil dressing last month and I think that it is okay. It's more of a dressing than a mayonnaise and it takes a little getting used to the taste. I don't think that it is something for me, I will stick to my regular mayonnaise.
