Birds Choice Hanging Tray Feeder, Small: Weather-Resistant, Recycled Materials, Easy-Clean

Perfect size! Too small for the dove to roost in, and just the right size for seed to get used up before going bad.

I love the feeder. I'm glad it is well built because unfortunately the raccoons love it too.

I have had a traditional two sided feeder that I took down and replaced with this platform feeder. I had difficulty with the two sided feeder not being large enough to enable nuts and fruit to get through. These nuts and fruit are mostly in the waste free blends. But the waste free was wasted in the two sided feeder because it would go moldy. In the platform feeder I put a half a cup a day. It is eaten by nightfall and is truly no waste. I wish I had gotten the larger feeder.

I like the openness, it does invite squirrels, but I knew that when I set it up. It attracts all manner of sing birds and allows me to leave fruit in the basket too.

Just fill with some seed, hang from a bracket or tree and watch the birds enjoy! I like that the birds can sit inside of the tray which to me makes it seem like they stay a little longer that way. Great fun to watch!

Not only do I love that it is made from recycled material but it also came with a S hook so I was able to easily hang it. I love how it holds bird food that is pretty small, some really tiny seeds did fall through but most stayed within the bird feeder. The feeder seems to be well made and durable and it looks lovely in my backyard. The birds have been enjoying it a lot! Totally recommend! It adds even more beauty to my yard!

The feeder is easy for my grandchildren to fill and they sure love seeing the wide variety of birds that come to visit. The were so excited when a cardinal came for a snack. I love the material that it's made out of because it will last so much longer than the woods ones that get wet and moldy. I also really like the green color as it blends into it's surrounds and makes it's appearance seem more natural. It's easy to refill and with the bottom being mess, allows for air flow and the rain to flow thru it so the bird seeds don't get soggy or moldy. I've had so many birds land on this and they seem to really enjoy it because it's very easy to get to the seeds. I would definitely recommend this hanging bird feeder!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bird feeder is made of a weather resistant (proof?) material. It is square, with a screen bottom and open top. Looks like a hanging tray. Easy to hang, easy to refill. Two major items I dislike: since it is open, the seed gets wet, or blown out on a really windy day. And with the screen bottom the smaller seeds fall out to the ground. Would I recommend it….no. There are too many other bird feeders out there that function very well, this one….not so much.

The birds have found plus a pestering squirrel. The red cardinal birds look so good in the feeder. I like that someone has found a way to recycle plastic.
