I love Birds Eye Frozen vegetables and the Whole Green Beans are a staple in my house. They taste so fresh and make meal prepping a breeze. Growing up my family always used canned veggies which are full of sodium. Once I started cooking for myself, I made the swap to frozen Birds Eye products and I'm so glad I did.

We have the steam type green beans that are opened up after cooking. In 99% of the bags of green beans there is always a stem included in with the product. Why so many stems? Is it a quality control issue?

These beans are awesome. They are as close to fresh as any frozen brand/type I have ever tried. They are whole beans, flavorful, firm, and have a beautiful green color. The steamfresh packaging and instructions worked perfectly. These will be my go-to green beans from now on.

When cooked in the bag, per the instructions, these come out like skinny, dried-out worms that you can't even bite!! I'm afraid they are inedible. Very disappointed. Sorry.....

I bought these a few weeks ago and they were really good. He just popped in the microwave for a few seconds put a little bit of olive oil and garlic salt and pepper and your good to go. I added bacon to mine and it was delicious.

Overripe with over developed inner seeds, poor flavor, not tender. Some beans had blotchy areas. These were stovetop cooked per the instructions, which we find produces slightly better results than microwaving, at least with the steam fresh brand. Would not buy again if there are other choices.

i bought two bags of your steamfresh whole green beans. Both had best by dates of August 2025! The beans in both bags were old and chewy and left a bad taste in my mouth. I threw them out.. What happened to your quality control I want my money back.

Usually the steamfresh vegetables from birds eye ste good but this bag of whole string beans was aweful. More than half the beans tasted old. Like they had been picked much too late. I ended up throwing them away. Very disappointed.

I have two bags in the freezer and have to throw them out. The green beans must be either cold storage or late season harvesting. The beans are tough and mealy. I can at least count on my local store to stand by their brands. I'm no longer buying Birds Eye Brand.

Cooked in the microwave and then sautéed with mushrooms and they were so tough and chewy we couldn’t eat them. So disappointing!

I see that I'm not the only one complaining about the quality of these beans over the past year. These used to be a staple in my freezer but I can't buy them any more. I've been consistently disappointed in the quality - the beans turn out tough and inedible each time. I've tried cooking them in the microwave and on the stove but nothing fixes it. Super disappointing for what used to be a delicious product.

The help button would not work so I guess this is how I have to do it. I opened my bag of frozen green beans and found a corn cob inside the bag! Not an ear of sweet corn, a dried corn cob like you find in a harvested field.

I have been buying the Birdseye microwave vegetables in a bag and they have been my go to vegetable for quite some time. Recently the quality has seemed to go down precipitously. I used some whole green beans in a recipe today and there were some course and stringy beans and some that were over ripe, some with chewy seeds, and they just didn’t taste the way they used to. I’ve been disappointed by some of the other vegetables as well. If the quality doesn’t improve I will have to check out other brands.

These were so good if you season them just right!!! And don’t forget to remove the beans inside. It tastes so much better!!! All you need to do is steam them with some butter, strain them. Add more butter, onion powder, salt and pepper!
