Black & Decker BCKM1011K10 Kitchen Wand Cordless Immersion Blender

Blender attachment fell apart after 18 months. Shaft separated from the attachment point to the hand unit. No replacement part available on the website. I only use this to blend my coffee in the morning, no rough use, no dishwasher etc.

I dont have much experience with immersion blenders, and Id definitely say they take some getting used to, but it performed like I expected. Now I just have to practice i little more as to not over blend potatoes. But it works well and not having the cords to get in the way is a major plus.

I’ve had a corded immersion blender for years that didn’t get used much (unless a recipe specifically said to use one). But now that this cordless kitchen wand lives on my counter, I have found more and more uses and use it nearly daily. I love that it has adjustable speeds so you can get several consistencies. It’s great for homemade pasta sauce and salsa. My husband on the other hand, just prefers it to make milkshakes!

The blender attachment for it is sturdy with stainless steel and at the very bottom is trimmed with plastic. I like that I don't have to worry about damaging or scratching my nice nonstick pans. I have used this for a variety of tasks, and it did well for all of them. It has great suction too so be mindful of that. When you get to close to the bottom you will find it wants to suck down. I plan to get the whisk attachment for it and love that it can do more than just blend things.

Once charged you connect the pieces and the blender is ready to use. It is slim to fit down into cups. It mixes everything so well. The charge lasts awhile before having to put it back on the base.

Love that its cordless! no more worrying about the cord getting in the way. After fully charging the battery lasted awhile, even after sitting being unused. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this wireless wand mixer for couple of weeks. It is easier to use it due to it does not require wired connection. This set come with one all in one blade that can make purée and crush vegetables easily. It also have one plastic cup that can be use to crush which include lid as well. The wand has three lights for battery indicator. We may also buy additional attachment for frothing, can opener and many more based on need. I would love to use it in future. One thing I have noticed that battery does not last long. It should come with two option of wireless and wired if we need to use it for longer time.

I love that it’s rechargeable so there’s no cord getting in the way. I love that it has interchangeable accessories. I love that it’s easy to use and works great. I use it to mix up my breakfast shakes, and pancake mix in the morning, I use it to make blended drinks like pina colada’s in the evenings and to make sweet treats like milk shakes, and smoothies for the kids. With the rechargeable feature it’s always ready, just grab and mix. It cleans easily too. Definitely recommend it for every kitchen.

It comes with a convenient countertop charger base that is small enough to be tucked out of the way when not being used. The battery lasts about 30 minutes when fully charged and has an LED battery charge indicator. I also like that it comes with a mixing cup with a lid. Other attachments are sold separately however. I would have liked for it to come with a whisk or frother attachment. It would also be nice if the base would have a spot to hold attachments, but they are small enough to fit in a drawer. These are just extras that would be nice to have included, but I still love this tool and definitely recommend!

The kitchen wand blended everything smoothly and efficiently. I enjoy a smooth salsa and that is what I got! I was able to use the wand right in the mason jar I was using for storage. It saves me from having to pull out the heavy blender & having to wash all the parts. I can’t wait to use it for other things like mashed potatoes and smoothies. This is just the beginning.
