I bought my husband, this drill set and he loves it. It lasted longer than his other drill battery life wise. He came with everything that he needed and he prefers this one over his other power drill. He keeps this thing in the back of his truck and takes it everywhere

Didn’t expect these to be premium. But they are in torque, weight, and feel. Very satisfied.

Great products and great price. The impact is very powerful and easy to use and the drill never lets me down.

So I got this set to help me assemble a section of wall, some 20 feet long and then put up dry wall. My plan was to get this set, because it had a drill to drill holes with, and then the impact driver to put the screw in right after without messing around to put a new bit in the chuck.. (I even got a extra battery to do it.. ) but after I started using it... I had to stop or I felt like I was going to break something... The first issue is the drill Is not that great, I got fresh sets of bits, and once they grabbed into the wood there be times the drill would nearly stop in the wood... I was luck to get the drill bit back out once it stopped...but that did not bug me as much as the next big issue.. The impact driver is just too weak... Like trying to get a 3 inch long drywall screw into the wall is slow and noisy, and you easily can end up scrapping the top of the screw if you don't push with all your might on the back of the driver to keep it from slipping out.... That the kind of effort I expect out of a impact driver if I never bothered to drill the hole in the first place. Struggling with it when i already drilled the hole is unacceptable. On top of that.. I already started to strip the head of the included Phillips head bit. I feel like the trigger for the impact driver is just too jerky... This tool makes you feel like your trying to manipulate a toggle switch...you either get full speed, or just a touch of power.. there is no in between setting that makes sense to get a Phillips head screw in and out... and so you end up stripping screws and bits trying to use it.. Looking at the product now.. it's clearly not meant to be used to do drywall, or even light framing.. To even try to take on that level of DIY you would need something twice as powerful, and with some way of giving you the torque you need but not the speed on the impact driver. So, If you have something not so involved as install a 2x4 frame wall in your house this would be OK... but once you start getting into that nearly professional grade job territory.. its not enough.. One last thing... there is a picture on the box... of hand holding the torque wrench, while putting what looks like 4 inch lag bolts into the side of a deck.. This is not much different from what I though i be using this set for... I'm not expecting to be able to use this to wrench off the lug-nuts on my car's wheel, but I think I should be able to at least be able to use the tool as show as intended from the boxes own packaging..

I love this set. It's not the fanciest, most expensive, and doesn't have the most features. But it does the job and it does it reliably. I purchased the combo set so that I have the impact driver solely for raising and lowering the stabilizer jacks on my travel trailer. It does a great job at that! Meanwhile, I have the drill for other jobs around the RV, and it travels with the RV. It's lightweight, charges quickly, and the battery lasts for when I need it. I keep two batteries in the RV at all times so I never need to worry about one tool or the other working.

I bought this to replace an older b&d 18v. I love the more compact size. Power and torque are much better as well as battery life.

Not happy the battery didn't last a year the battery will not charge

I got this a month ago and have been using them regularly, the drill doesn’t have as much snort as the one I use for work but it does the job, the impact driver is supringly capable and the battery life is good

I have been using this for about a week now. The drill seems well built with the clutch built in so you can adjust your torque. The impact driver struggles when using 3 inch or longer screws. If you are joining two 2x4 boards when you get passed 1 1/2" of screw then it slows down and gets louder. Not sure that it will break but the sound is a little worrisome. Comes with 1 battery and a charger. All in all I think this is a good set and have always been happy with the tools i have purchased from Black+Decker.
