Wanted it to sharpen garden tools, it did a great job. On/Off switch is a safety switch, slide forward ON, press down on rear of switch to slide OFF. It’s a grinder NOT a cutter.

Broke on first use. Some graphite piece inside was snapped when I took it apart. Don't see that on any parts list. Trying to get my kitchen done, need to spend the time to go get a reputable machine now. Will not purchase from this company ever again. I see why it was so much cheaper than the other companies. Not built to last. Oh well. Good luck to you all, I would reccomend against this product.
