This bag is for the original tailgater model-1555, not the newest version-1550. We have never heard that it doesn't fit. Please contact support if you are trying to fit the original model in the bag. We advertise on our website that it does not fit the 1550. There are perforated pockets for leg extensions.

The carry cases for the Tailgater Combo components are outstanding! Everything fits perfectly and is snug, not loose. We traveled with the tailgater once before getting the carry cases and it was difficult to handle. However, the carry cases made the components very easy to carry and store. You need these bags!

The covers are nice but we are struggling with the grills. Both sides do not get hot enough to cook things completely. It seems the flame is too far or below too much to heat both the grates or the flat top. Any suggestions?

Thank you for asking for our suggestions as most of the time we hear quite the opposite, that the grill box can get very hot quickly. It is so efficient to boil pots of water, food, etc when the box is removed. So what it sounds like to me is the regulator needs to be reset. You need to open the tank slowly the first 1/8-1/4 of a turn then pause for the propane to fill the gas rail. Then continue to open the tank slowly and this will prevent you from tripping the safety feature in the regulator. Propane is high pressure and our griddle regulators are .5 PSI which is low pressure.
