This shampoo smells amazing. It has the perfect amount of scent that lasts a long time. It is a good consistency. Lathers well and rinses out easily. Leaves hair looking, feeling and smelling amazing.

I really like this Blackwood for Men Active Man Daily Shampoo. The smell is nice and masculine and it really gets my hair clean and removes any buildup from using my sculpting cream daily. The size is also great because it doesn’t take up much space in my shower caddy. I enjoy and appreciate the botanical ingredients as well. I would definitely recommend this product!

I’m a little picky with my shampoos - I have long hair and a sensitive scalp, so I have to find the right combination of the right ingredients (and avoid the wrong fragrances). Most fragranced shampoos make my scalp really itchy, but I was pleasantly surprised that this one didn’t! The smell wasn’t bad either, definitely a masculine cologne kind of scent. I did notice that my hair felt a little dry after I used it, but that’s what you get from any clarifying shampoo that does it’s job. In short: It smells good, it didn’t make me itch, and it got my hair nice and clean.

This is a great daily shampoo for men! The scent is refreshing and the shampoo foams perfectly. It deeply nourishes my hair and scalp. The shampoo is smooth and silky. Also, it is less irritating compared to similar products. The bottle squeezer was convenient and easy to use as well, while allowing controlled dispersion of the right amount of shampoo that I want to use. I like the exterior design of the bottle as well, very masculine and bold colors. I recommend this product based on how well the product works on my hair.

Husband loves this line of products and now he absolutely loves this new scent! Very mild and not overwhelming. Leaving his skin very soft and feeling extremely clean. Loves the pump on the bottle, very convenient.

I am reviewing the Blackwood for Men Active Man Daily Shampoo. The item I'm reviewing is 7 oz and is in a small and compact dispenser. The product states the shampoo is "boosted by" Licorice Root, Rice Extract and Ginseng and works to thicken, deep clean and protect. According to the back label, the Rice Extract will purify, the Ginseng is for growth and the Clove Flower is to thicken the hair. Overall, I really like this shampoo. I felt that it was really "sudsy" which I personally like. Also, it had a very subtle masculine smell to it unlike many mens shampoo which seem to have very strong smells to them. And, I really like that after the shower, the smell seems to go away and doesn't linger too long. So if you are sensitive to strong smells, this might be the shampoo for you!

I previously used Blackwood's foaming face wash product and really liked the ingredients and the usefulness of the product. So, when I saw that they also made a shampoo, I had to get and try this one--and I'm glad I did. Their Active Man Daily shampoo is another hit with more good ingredients. I should note that although the shampoo is said to stimulate hair growth and prevent hair loss, as a balding man, I don't really expect much of that. However, to save whatever hair I have left, I'm hoping this product does the trick, but that remains to be seen. I like that the product has aloe vera and the scent is also pleasant--but it's not as strong and lasting as I would've liked it to be. No other complaints though and I'll definitely continue to explore the Blackwood line of products.

I have tried other Blackwood products in the past, but this scent is probably my new favorite. I love how you can feel the ingredients working on your scalp and smell how good it is as you’re applying it. A little bit of product lathers up and goes a long way, too. My son has started to use this, too, and he is also saying he really likes the suds it creates on his head and how easily it rinses away. We’ve been big fans of Blackwood and this solidifies that belief for us!

It definitely has a nice musk smell to it. I like this type as it makes me feel manly and fresh after every wash. It cleans good as I feel no heaviness or residue. I have been losing hair since high school so hopefully this helps with that. It is gel-like and nice.

I've been using this shampoo on my relatively thick hair for a week, so I cannot comment on any affect on hair growth or other features in that longer term category. In the shorter term, the shampoo has a pleasant fragrance (sort of outdoorsy and "manly"). I like that the shampoo is clear (no dyes) and makes good suds with not too much required. In general my hair feels clean after it is washed out and when dry. The bottle is a little small for a "daily" shampoo, so I cut off a star for that.

I dont any scalp or hair issues but love the smell of this shampoo. Makes my hair and scalp feel nice after the shower. The smell is light and not overpowering. The small compact pump bottle makes it great for travel as well.

I've used this shampoo for about a week now and can tell some subtle differences in my hair quality after using it. First, I've noticed that my hair stays clean a little bit longer and doesn't feel as oily as quickly. Secondly, I am enjoying the smell, and lastly, hopefully, there's a slight thickness to my hair that is starting to come in. For those reasons, I'd recommend checking this out.

I received this item via the Heys, Bullseye program. It was a nice surprise since so many shampoos on the market are not designed for men. This one has a nice refreshing scent that’s not overpowering, and it does pretty well washing out hair gel and hair pomade. Only thing I wish were different is NO PLASTIC WRAPPING around the package and have it in a bigger size. I would certainly buy it if it’s in a bigger container so it’ll be better for the environment. 1 star off for packaging.

I really love this Blackwood for men Daily Shampoo. The ingredients are clean with a lot of botanical plants extracts. It also has a nice soothing and calming effects to helps keep my hair clean from sweat, oil and buildup that accumulated on the hair strands and scalp. The shampoo lathers so well on the hair. My hair looks clean, feels clean and well nourished with a nice and refreshing herbal scent to boost.

The packaging is very simple, modern and beautiful. The scent is strong you can smell it even when the bottle is closed. However, it smells amazing. I like that the bottle comes with a pump, much easier to dispense. Shampoo is thick and lathers on very nicely. The scent is not overpowering after use.
