I have tried several dog foods. My bichon decides after 2/3 of bag, she doesn't like her food anymore. I have discovered Blue Buffalo stews. She is allergic to chicken. She devours both of these. She is only 12 lbs. I have to cut each large piece into 3 or 4 smaller pieces or She won't eat them. I also add 1/4 c fresh veggies. She would not eat this stew without fresh veggies added.
Horrible food. 0 rating.

All 4 of my dogs WILL NOT EAT THIS. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Absolutely disgusting. So tired of throwing away food and money. All 4 dogs walked away from their bowls. How is this explained?

My dog loves Hunters Stew. I’m working on slimming her down. While Blue’s Stew isn’t for weight reduction, I’ve noticed I can give her a bit less and she doesn’t beg for more.

I thought the meat to veggies ratio was fair. the consistency looked good. dogs seemed to enjoy it. There wasn't a lot of the jello like stuff on top of can like some dog foods have. Meat pieces could have been larger.

I can't personally say what this food taste like, but my king Vinny seems to love it! I have a 7 month old Frenchie who is extra picky and refuses to eat his food dry, I have tried many brand, many flavors and he just turns his nose up at it. He also is so picky that if you think he has found something he likes after about 2 weeks he is done with it , but not this brand! So whatever is in it he loves it !

I have a rescue dog that had never been outside and had never ate dog food before he came to me! They only fed him table food! So finding a food that he would eat is very challenging! He does eat this once he gets hungry enough however it makes his butt itch lol i have taken him to the vet thinking he had worms or his anal gland needed something but it was nothing lol he stops when I switch his food so I don't know what it is but this food makes his butt itch lol

Poncho absolutely LOVES this and I feel good about feeding it to him. I can see veggies and chunks of meat in his plate so the variety I expect in my little guys dinners. However, Poncho is 13 years old so I try hard to feed him the most nutritious recipes that are aimed for senior dogs. The ingredients are everything when selecting this little dogs food. Meat must be listed as the first ingredient. I wish it was more affordable. This variety if Blue is about 95¢ more than the already high priced food from the same brand that currently feed him. I do give this stew as a treat from time to time or for whatever reason we can't get his normal recipe. This is a great canned dog food for your pet and I recommend buying it bulk to save money as it is more expensive.

My babies love this food! They used to eat the dry but with aging I have had to switch to wet. I prefer the cuts instead of ground because of my personal preference. They don’t care either way. I have one cat that even has to have a bite everyday as I feed my dogs.

My dog doesn't usually get wet food, but when she had a few teeth pulled and was on a soft diet for several weeks she gobbled this up without a problem. A little expensive but sometimes can find a good deal.

Searched for a food to tempt my 14 year old Sheltie, who was upset with our moving and refused to eat anything. Blue Buffalo ingredients tempted her, once she got a little taste on a spoon, and she would then eat some of it. After the move, she changed completely. Now she dances around me and barks if I take too long preparing her dish. She eats a whole can a day now, and all angst has disappeared. She was on several medications, and is now off all of them and doing just fine. I am overjoyed, because having a pet that was starving herself is no fun, so am delighted that her system loves this food. She went from 25 lbs to 17 in two months, before, and is now back up to 22 lbs.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My dogs (1 dachshund and 2 feists) love wet food mixed with their dry food, and this brand advertises quality ingredients that are good for your dog. Well after introducing this one to their breakfast/dinner bowls all three got very sick with GI trouble. As soon as I switched them to a different brand, they were better so I’m certain this was what caused their problems. I do not recommend this brand/flavor at all.

My fur baby, Toby, loves the Blue Buffalo Blue Stew. We mix it with dry food and he snarfs it down. Toby is getting older so we try to give him food that helps with his joints, skin, teeth and fur. Blue Buffalo was recommended to us by our vet and he has been eating it for several years. Of course we mix up the flavors for him, but he really likes the stew. We actually used to cook up chicken, rice and green beans to mix in with his hard food but he stopped liking it and prefers the Blue Buffalo. The only reason I am docking a star is because it does sometimes give him gas. It isn’t all the time, but man, he can clear a room when it does happen. LOL!
